good, meaty wrench
i have had this now for about two weeks. i carry it on the job in my pocket. it replaced an abused craftsman 6 inch adjustable. at first i wasnt crazy about it because it is significantly bigger than any other 6 inch adjustable i own and is therefore a bit more cumbersome to carry. however, the jaws slide open and closed so smoothly and i can grab anything that an 8 inch adjustable will grab (it opens to about 1 1/8" or so!) that i am starting to really like this tool. the grip is nice and comfy and the hole in the end is big enough to bend tabs or pins if needed. so far so good.update 12/16/15: this is still a really good adjustable wrench. i keep seeing the reviews comparing it to a crescent. if you have ever actually owned and used a crescent brand adjustable (like industrial use, not used it once to build a plastic cabinet at home), you will be truly impressed with the lack of backlash. however, this is still an adjustable wrench and it DOES have backlash. if you dont want backlash, try using the correct sized wrench/socket.i do have one complaint, though its not a star killer. i got a 6 inch so that i didnt have to lug around an 8 incher. this bahco is just as bulky and heavy, if not more so, than my proto 8" click stop, while not having the leverage of the slightly longer handle. i will probably end up with a 6" click stop soon since if i am at work, i have an adjustable wrench on me...and while the bahco is a great tool and performs well, it is quite beefy for pocket carry. if you carry a pouch or push a tool cart, that wont be an issue and the bahco is worth the weight due to its ruggedness and extra wide jaw.

Perfect size adjustable wrench for tool pouch
I LOVE this wrench. It's the perfect size to carry around in a small pouch that I carry on my belt. I work in a large manufacturing facility and having a small, useful tool kit on my belt is a must. And every tool in it needs to be versatile and accommodate as many situations as possible upon initial response to a repair call. This wrench (and my trusty Knipex (87 01 180 SBA) 7" Cobra Pliers) allow me to take care of about 90% of my calls while out on the floor without having to return to my tool box for more specialized wrenches. It has a large opening for larger bolts/fittings and the jaws are also quite deep. The shorter handle allows tight access and the molded grip is very comfortable to hold. It has markings on both sides (one side is graduated in inches, the other side metric) so if I need a certain socket or a larger wrench the guess work is eliminated when retrieving the correct size. Given their size, it has it's limitations as far as leverage but this is to be expected. They are pretty tough though. If I ever loose or break this wrench, I will promptly buy another to replace it. They have earned their place in my tool belt pouch kit for my always-carried tools around the plant - and I don't give tools a place there unless they are exceptional, functional, and truly worthy.

Great wrench
This is an awesome wrench. I really like how smooth it adjusts and how thin the jaws are. Also, the imperial and metric measurements on the body come in pretty handy

Solid little adjustable
I bought this to compare to the Channellock 6WCB. I thought the Channellocks were good until I got this in my hand. The Bahco is much smoother and has less wiggle in the adjustable jaw and it also arrived with some lubricant in the track while the Channellock was dry and felt gritty. The Channellock does open a little bit wider but not enough to make a difference to me. They’re both made in Spain and they may even come out of the same factory but it seems like Bahco/Snapon must hold them to a higher standard than Channellock does.I was trying to figure out which one I wanted online without ordering both and kept going back and forth trying to decide. But once I got them both in hand there was no question that the Bahco was better to me. The Bahco just feels so much more solid in hand and I definitely prefer it’s grip. One thing to consider though is that with the Channellock you can break the red part out of the handle and then slide the grip off and it has a normal metal handle underneath, but with the Bahco the metal part of the handle looks like it has a shoulder at each end of the rubber grip so it doesn’t look like it would be very comfortable at all to use without the grip if it were to get cut or torn off.Overall I like the Bahco way better though and I just ordered the 8 inch chrome version as well since I was so happy with this one.
