This is a great server and met our needs exactly, here is what we needed:- 3-tiered- holds 8" plates max (could probably hold slightly smaller plates, but not really anything bigger than 8")- swivel or able to position a bitThe jewels are plastic, but they are cute! On a fancy table they look perfect. You could always remove or replace them if you wanted, as they are on small hooks/rings. I will probably change the jewels out for something else depending on the occasion.The frame is a dull silver metal material (looks just like picture) but it is decent construction. You can move the layers under one another for storage, but it wont stand up in the collapsed state (but goes into a box fine) so I don't think you'd be able to put it on a shelf without a box.Overall - VERY PLEASED for the price!!!! We used it as the center of our table at a group tea party and will use it again.

My Own Fault for not reading, but there are no plates that come with this. Positive about it is you can use baskets, plates, etc. whatever you want. Negative is if you liked those white plates, you arent getting them, lol. I used for my daughters Wedding for dessert display. Very lovely. Make sure you have proper space to display them. There are no directions that came with mine to show how it is set up. You have to play around and then you see how it stabilizes. When it does, it takes up quite a circumfrence. I didn't have room to open it completely at the Venue. I can't wait to use them at Christmas time. Very pretty. Good stainless. should last a long while.

Used for a small wedding and was perfect for the 3 levels and move apart but still together. Top level used for a small wedding cake for them to cut for pictures, 2nd level was decorative cupcakes with their names and 3rd level was the Unity candle. Looks great and worked great.

Really cute very easy to set up just wished it was a little bigger than what it was overall it cute

I am very happy with this purchase. The beads are a nice touch and are very cute! My standard white 8" plates fit perfectly, however, I would have preferred if it had come with plates, perhaps in a clear acrylic. It is currently sitting in the corner of my kitchen counter for fruits, onions, garlic, etc. and clears up a lot of space in a very elegant and convenient manner. It will also be very useful for holiday buffet service, and also folds flat for easy storage.

I love the elegant and ease to store it! I used 10" glass plates. I used it for a quinceañera dessert table. Great value!

I bought this with plans to stack three cakes for a wedding. I found out it's not sturdy enough to hold up a wedding cake. I had to put something under it to make sure it wouldnt fall over. It was very wobbly under the weight of cakes. But if you have something light weight like a one layer cake, cupcakes or appetizers, it would be great for that. Your cakes can't be much bigger in diameter than a saucer plate because it wont fit on the top two pedestals. However, this stand is very pretty. It's not a shiny silver color, but a flat metal color.

This is a fine piece with no assembly required.However, I recommend that if you have a smaller table and plan on eating at the table with this piece, it will be a tight fit for this to sit in the center as it is a nice size.
