Nature's Way Sambucus Elderberry Immune Syrup for Kids Ages 2+, with Echinacea & Propolis, Immune Support Syrup*, Vegetarian, Berry Flavored, 8 Fl Oz

This is my first time writing on any review. I have to let everyone know that this is a miracle product. I have my first baby about 4.5 years ago and another one about 2 years later. Lets just say my kids and I have been sick almost every month b/c both kids are in daycare at a very young age (6 weeks). Within these couple years my daughter was on 13 times of antibiotics, my son about 10 times and myself about 11 times. About 3 months ago i went into whole foods and was looking for anything that can boost my immune system and the clerk there introduce me to this. I was like what the heck i have nothing to loose so i bought it. Start giving to my kids everyday and notice that their normal weekly runny noses are gone. I went on Amazon and bought the adult version for myself. Now 3 months into taking it My kids and I are not sick since then. Its flu season and we are still holding up. For the first time in about 3 years i finally feel like a human again. From being sick all the time and having sick kids, taking days off work i was about to end my job to be a stay home mom and just avoid daycare. If you are deciding to buy this don't think, JUST GET IT. it have safe my family from getting sick all the time and i told myself that i have to tell everyone about this. Hell with the antibiotics, yeah it helps at the time but it don't prevent you from getting sick. We have spend over 4k on medical bills all these years from co pay to all kind of tests to see why we are getting sick all the time. My family doctor loves us b/c he can make so much $ off us. We visit every 3 weeks sometimes every week and every time we come back with antibiotics. Now i make my own elderberry syrup and just buy this for the kids b/c this is a little lighter than the one i make. I buy the dried berries here on Amazon and follow recipes online to make it. Taste yummy! Its way cheaper too if you make your own. I go through mine very quick if I start feeling sick i take it every 2 hours. Same with my kids. I absolutely adore this syrup. I was skeptical when I first ordered this after my two-year-old caught her second cold in a matter of weeks, but I was desperate. The next time she showed signs of a cold I gave her the double dose as directed and her cold only lasted 5 days and was SIGNIFICANTLY less severe than her previous colds that year. Even after that I wasn't totally sold, it could have been a less severe cold that she had picked up, so I withheld judgement. The next time she showed symptoms I did the same thing again, although it wasn't quite as fast as before, and the cold only lasted 6 days with mild symptoms. The key with this stuff is that you have to start giving it to them the moment you even think they might be getting a cold. I don't give the maintenance dose consistently, only after she has been somewhere that is particularly germ infested, and that seems to do enough to keep her from catching as many colds as she probably would. My daughter loves the taste, and I even make her elderberry soda, just mixing the dosage amount with sparkling water, and she will usually drink it all. That being said, I only do that for occasional doses, not when she is sick because she doesn't always drink the entire amount. Also, this stuff stains and is sticky. It isn't impossible to get out, but it isn't fun to have extra laundry to do. I usually give her the medicine while she taking a bath in case of drooling or the rare mutiny. I really can't recommend this stuff enough. Give it a go, use as directed, and your little one will be back climbing the 6 ft tall cat post in no time.

I ordered this to help fight off a bacterial infection in my 17 month old daughter because i read many things that echinacea is suppose to help with bacterial infections in the body and I decided to try this instead of her going on a antibiotic for it along with using turmeric powder given orally each day. however right after I received this bottle she happen to come down with a cold that following day and her ear started bothering her that next morning so I gave her 1 tsp twice a day of this along with some mullein garlic oil drops in both ears and did that 3 times a day along with this and some great lakes gelatin unflavored powder I put in her juice. she was running a fever of 102 the first day and had congestion and stopped a up nose after doing all the above and putting a few drops eucalyptus essential oil in her warm bath water for her nose congestion and giving this stuff to her and with in 24 hours her fever disappeared and with in 48 hours she was back to her normal self again and not sick, no more ear pain anymore ether. I really feel this stuff it has really helped boost her immune system up and helped knock the cold out a lot faster. will be continuing to use this more often during this coming winter. thanks for making a great natural product for kids.

I give a daily dose of this to my toddler. We have been doing that since he was 2 years old - he’s now 3.5 years old. This elderberry syrup provides great daily immunity support. It gives his system a little boost/extra protection from all the toddler germs out there. When he’s feeling sick, I give him a double dose each day until he’s feeling better. The best part about this syrup is that there is no fighting or tears to get our toddler to take it each day. He loves the taste so much that he asks for it, and asks for more. He won’t go to bed without it!

The reason I think this is a really great product is because, first and foremost, it's tasty! It's not often that you find health supplements that kids would enjoy taking. Further, it's designed specifically for kids which shows thoughtfulness on the manufacturer's part. The inclusion of elderberry extract is a definite advantage, given all the health benefits associated with it. Highly recommend this for parents looking to boost their children's immune system.

Very good product. Too bad it is so expensive.
