LEGO City Passenger Train 60197 Building Kit (677 Pieces)

Ordered for my sons birthday. It was delivered within 24 hours and in brand new condition. Some reviews mentioned about Chinese origin or writing on the box, but I cannot see anything out of the ordinary for Lego. Tested the Remote and battery motor and both worked fine. Also tested the iPhone app for Bluetooth control of the train and it worked also without any issues. Overall my son was thrilled with it.

The Baterrry or motor is not working we build it with my kids and once we done and try it suddenly not working please advice..do I need to return the item or just the motor or battery

Me encanta lego y tengo una modesta colección de trenes. Digo modesta porque los precios de la marca suelen ser muy altos y personalmente cuando compró un producto es porque merece mucho la pena. En este caso la decisión fue fácil ¡El mejor precio que he visto de este Set en primera mano! Salió casi a mitad del PVP. Por ese precio el Set está increíble. Tengo también el de mercancías que, aunque me gusta más, este tiene ventajas sobre el otro y sobre todo, sobre otros sets de pasajeros anteriores. Para empezar los vagones son una pasada, tienen mucho mimo y son bastante completos, teniendo cada uno 4 pares de ruedas giratorias, en vez de dos, lo que para girar es genial dado que son vagones de los largos. El vagón cafetería es bastante divertido y bien pensado. Algo mejorable es el de pasajeros, que muy bien la zona de dejar la maleta pero quizá el interior se queda un poco pobre. La locomotora es, sin duda lo mejor. Había visto varias reviews del producto pero os aseguro que de todos mis trenes que pertenecen al catálogo comercial Lego, esta locomotora es la que más me ha sorprendido respecto a vídeos y demás. Es algo más grande de lo que pueda parecer a simple vista y está muy muy bien trabajada. La pieza de la cabina súper moderna y, sin duda, lo que me llama más la atención de este set son los colores, un acierto total. En cuanto a puntos mejorables destaco el andén de la estación que es muy muy pobre. Casi hubiera preferido más vías rectas o que suban el precio y meter un vagón adicional con la estética de la cabina. Al hilo de lo anterior estéticamente se queda un poco corto al acabar con un vagón y no con otra emulación de cabina tal y como ocurría en otros sets. Otro fallo, pero este de todos los trenes lego, es la batería. Funciona con pilas y dura muy poco, no sé cuándo pondrán baterías. Te recomendaría que comprases pilas recargables, el propio Amazon tiene a buen precio. En definitiva, deja bastante que desear por su precio original. Sin embargo, es bastante fácil encontrarlo en Amazon por 109€ o incluso mucho menos, como me ocurrió a mí, y en estos casos es un set más que recomendado. Aprovecha ahora mientras puedas porque personalmente, el nuevo set del tren de pasajeros que se estrena en 2022 me parece bastante más feo.

Bei uns hat an Weihnachten der LEGO Personenzug seinen Weg ins Kinderzimmer gefunden, nachdem unsere Kinder bereits seit einem Jahr diesen Wunsch ausgesprochen hatten. Das Set ist sehr umfangreich und beinhaltet neben dem Triebkopf einen Speise- und einen Sitzwagen. Zusätzlich gibt es ein Gleisoval und einen kleinen Bahnsteig inkl. Signal (das allerdings keine elektrische Funktion hat). Insgesamt liegen dem Set vier Minifiguren bei. Der Zusammenbau dauert etwa 3 Stunden, wobei die Anleitung so gut und ausführlich bebildert ist (vor allem in kleinen Schritten), dass auch kleinere Kinder (unser ist 4 Jahre alt und hat den Speisewaggon fast alleine zusammenbauen können) sehr gut damit zurechtkommen. Das finde ich mit Blick auf das kindliche Erfolgserlebnis sehr schön. Bei den Achsen und der Motorisierung muss natürlich mitgeholfen werden. Die Schienen zeigen auch auf Teppichboden gute Laufeigenschaften und können kleine Unebenheiten ausgleichen; damit läuft der Zug sehr gleichmäßig. Am meisten begeistert mich als Erwachsenen die Fernbedienung bzw. Motoreinheit mit Bluetooth. Nach dem Einlegen von 6 AAA Batterien in den Zug und 4 weiteren AAA Batterien in die Fernbedienung kann es sofort losgehen. Das Koppeln (bzw. Pairen) der Zugs mit der Fernbedienung funktioniert sehr schnell und wird kindgerecht über eine grüne Leuchtdiode signalisiert. Durch das „+“ Zeichen auf der Fernbedienung kann man den Zug vorwärts- bzw. durch das „-“ Zeichen rückwärtsfahren lassen; und das mit zehn Geschwindigkeitsstufen. Wir haben parallel ein weiteres älteres Set geschenkt bekommen, dass noch mit einer RC-Fernbedienung funktioniert; hier ist das Regeln der Geschwindigkeit deutlich schwieriger für kleine Kinderhände; auch das Anfahrgeräusch ist deutlich lauter. Für mich ist die neue Fernbedienung ein absoluter Gewinn. Man kann den Zug auf mit der LEGO Powered Up App steuern, davon halte ich mit Blick auf die Mediennutzung von Kindern aber nichts; ich habe es abends alleine für mich probiert und kann sagen, dass es problemlos funktioniert. Hier kann man über das Smartphone noch Zuggeräusche dazusteuern (die allerdings aus dem Smartphone kommen)….nett, aber für unsere Kinder nicht von Interesse. Wenn man nach dem Haar in der Suppe sucht, dann kann man vielleicht benennen, dass leider nur ein Triebkopf enthalten ist; das macht den Zug irgendwie nicht komplett. Dafür gibt’s aber zwei Anhänger, die vor allem von den Kindern sehr viel zum Spielen genutzt werden. Und es gibt leider keine Türen zum Einsteigen (das geht „nur“ übers Dach). Das alles ist aber als Jammern auf hohem Niveau zu verstehen. Wir freuen uns auf weitere Zugsets von LEGO und sprechen eine Kaufempfehlung aus.

Produit reçu pratiquement 10 jours avant la date estimée de réception; en plein confinement qui plus est. C'est un jouet LEGO donc niveau qualité et du jouet en lui même, et du moteur électronique c'est forcément parfait. Mon fils à 4 ans et à réussi à le monter seul; je n'ai fais que superviser. la télécommande est solide. On dirait une manette de Nintendo. Le train répond à toutes les commandes instantanément. La vitesse du train est impressionnante. Le petit kiffe à mort ce jeu. Achetez obligatoirement des rails en plus car le circuit livré avec est trop petit pour le train et surtout sa vitesse si le petit veut aller au maximum de la vitesse possible. Sur le circuit livré, à partir de la vitesse 6 ( le train en a 10), il déraille. Pour précision, pas de lumière à l'avant ni dans les wagons, juste la lumière émise du moteur qui change de couleur sur simple pression sur la télécommande. Donc si vous voulez ajouter des phares, c'est un complément à se procurer en plus. Et attention, livré sans piles, il faut 10 LR03 donc prévoyez, sinon gare à la déception du gamin derrière!

Bought as a xmas present for a lego fan and has been played with almost daily since. The set itself consists of all the bits to make the train and 2 additional carriages along with a suitably sized track. The remote control is straightforward to use and has additional channels on it in case you want to add lights or additional motors to the train. The remote allows for 6 forward and 6 reverse speeds. The train itself has a power box which runs on 6 AAA batteries. It does eat through these very quickly though so using rechargeables may be a good idea. It is also a bit of a faff to replace the batteries as you need to dconstruct the train engine, take out the power box, unscrew it and then change the batteries. A rechargeable power block would have been a much better solution here. The train itself is nicely detailed and of a high quality contruction, but importantly the kids have not grown tired of it, quite the contrary I have had to buy lots more track and a second train to expand the set! Another neat feature is bluetooth compatibility which means, via a downloadable app, you can control the train via phone or tablet. The app has some nice additional features such as loco, horn, crossing sounds, and also the same functionality as the remote to have 6 speeds forward and reverse. This is not a cheap train set but it is definitely worth the money and you get value for what you pay.
