If you are or think you are I like these because the're 1000 lU, so you can have your level checked and the # of pills suggested for you level. It is especially important if you are not in the sun very much like me. They say that 70% of the US are deficient to some level, but we're people and we're ALL different. Works well especially now with Covid around and you need vitamin D.

Despite living in a warm climate, my vitamin D level was recently much lower than when I lived in the northeast. [Who wants to go outside when it is has been 95 degrees during the day for the past 6 months?] However, any supplementation above 1000 IU wrecks havoc with my GI track. Glad I found these 1000 IU softgels but I'm planning to try Jarrow's 400 IU unless LifeExtension comes up with that dose in the near future.
