Atwood 37696 Hydro Flame Replacement Motor

This unit worked perfectly for me. My old one started sounding like a jackhammer and rattled the windows. Very quiet motor all you can hear is air blowing and flame burning.This is an updated motor compared to the original.The diameter is the same but the motor itself is shorter. the over all length from shaft to shaft end is the same.Hardest part of this job is getting the fan off the flame side of the old motor. Lots of WD-40 and sand paper. After lots of patience to not damage the fan blades I worked it off.The new one slid right into place and the old fans fit right on it.Over all if you're somewhat mechanically inclined. You can do this also

Worked great to fix my Atwood 8935-II furnace, 1989 vintage. The exhaust fan had rust-welded on to the shaft of the old motor, that took several hours of twisting and pulling and oiling to remove. Other than that, the replacement was easy. The shaft on this one is slightly longer than the original and the old one had wire terminals instead of wires coming out, but this motor fit nicely. No more loud squawking and tripped fuses!
