Review: I have read the stories of Kakashi and Shikamaru, and I liked Sakura’s story the best. I was hoping that something romantic would develop between Sasuke and Sakura, but it did not. Well, Sasuke might saying to himself the familiar phrase, “Until the next time.” Review: Kishimoto wasn’t able to write freely about Sakura before due to the hate, so I’m really glad her novel gave her the spotlight and showed how amazing she is as a person and as a ninja. Thank you very much for this! Hope to see more of Sakura, maybe her solo missions as a jonin or training with Katsuyu would be good concepts? Me and my wallet will be there 🤣

Un livre pas mal bon il y quelques coquilles dedans mais rien de bien incompréhensible. Je suis contente du livre car le personnage de Sakura n'est pas toujours très développé ni mit en avant. La couverture est bien faite.

Having supported SasuSaku all these years, I really enjoyed this novel. I found it beautifully written. Following the franchise growing up, I have always paid special attention to Sakura's growth. This story continues just that as we watch her cope with Sasuke's absence while achieving great accomplishments in the process. Character portrayals were well done, and I found myself smiling at the bits and pieces of humour here and there. I'm not usually one for reading fighting scenes in full-out text format, but it was manageable here. Though it wasn't written by Masashi Kishimoto, the scenario played out realistically enough that it was practically canon. On the down side (as many others have already mentioned), there are mix-ups with the names, particularly on one page but a few scattered on other pages as well. You'll definitely know when you get to that one page. I've read the warnings from other reviewers though, so it didn't bother me too much. I knew what I was in for. Other than that, the translator did an excellent job. The book itself is really pretty. Aside from the cover, the first page has a coloured sketch of Sakura as well. Masashi Kishimoto did do the artwork, and I personally think that this is the prettiest I've seen him draw her so far. Overall, I would really recommend this story to all the SasuSaku shippers out there. I finished it in one sitting because I just couldn't put it down. :)
