Like the option of clear light or changing colour but I should have bought 1 size bigger. Mine give off an accent light not seeing light

I thought these were going to light up the whole patio. They give out a nice little twinkly glow of warm light but I wouldn’t rely on these to give out enough light to read a book outside at night or something. They’re nice regardless and I don’t regret having bought them. They’re kinda romantic in a certain way too though so it really depends what you’re looking for in a light. If you’re looking to light up the top railing of a fence or a patio railing, these would be perfect for that and would give a nice ambience to your outdoor surroundings. They would also be good to light up an outdoor staircase (at 2 per stair, a box of 6 will take care of 3 stairs and most houses wouldn’t have any more than 6 stairs so 2 boxes could do it). There’s 6 in the box (I used 5 for my project) and they come with all the screws to install them (I used 2 way tape - Alien Tape also found on Amazon which works great) but they do come with 6 pieces of 2 way tape in the box but I felt that the glue in those might have only been strong enough to hold down the light in place so that a person can properly then screw it down which looking at it that way makes it a one man job if done that way (or 3 Newfies because they’re light bulbs), they come unassembled on purpose I think because the switch to turn the lights on either on Warm light or on Multicolour (2 settings + off = 3) is on the inside so you just choose your setting and pop the clear cover on and you’re ready to install them. The whole thing took me about 10 minutes to complete the installation. In my mind I pictured them being fairly larger than what they actually are and I was envisioning that the rays from the lights would light up the whole floor of the patio which is by far not the case. My expectations weren’t very realistic. Nothing serious! I still gave these a 4-star because they are useful for certain types of projects even the one that I bought them for they still look fantastic on the railing of the patio. The charge in them will mostly last from dusk till dawn when the previous day was sunny and a bit less when it’s been rainy on the previous day of the night of. Overall they keep their charge and power as they should and they turn on automatically at dusk or when nighttime hits. There’s no switch and although you “could” set them up in such a way that you would have to go turn each one of them on, it’s far less hassle to set them up that they come on on their own and me, when I sit in the living room at night at a certain time, I can always catch out of the corner of my eye that my patio lights came on. Their my lanterns who are the stars in the sky (like the song goes). And I always say to my mom “hey mom… the lights came on on the patio…” (she likes them too) Cheers - Michel M.

Love these small beautiful bright solar lights. My hard wired landscape went out and we are in below freezing temperatures so I bought these to place on my deck railing until spring. They are adorable and perfect for a quick fix. Didn't even screw them on railing for now and since my top rail is flat they sit there without issue for now. Thinking I may get some double stick tape for a more secure fit until warm weather and I can get to rewiring my other lights. They came fully charged and stay on for at least 6 hours but I am not sure it may be longer bc I have gone to bed so I do not see them. One of my better purchases from Amazon!
