what is the percentage of retinol in this serum?

Ingredients have changed I purchased this bottle and noticed that the retinal is listed far down on the ingredient list

how often and how should i use the product? is it for the eyes area too?

It depends how sensitive or reactive your skin is. Some need to start out using retinols every few days or every other day. Rarely more than once a day. Retinol is save to apply everywhere and will only cause temporary irritation if you accidentally get it in your eye. Other ingredients that are often added with it though are not always as safe to apply near eyes. Thinner skin may react more strongly and require a longer adjustment time with initially less frequent applications. It is actually highly recommended by dermatologists to apply retinol around the eyes because it's a common area to show damage or aging and there are not as many products safe for getting so close to your eyes. Retinols do NOT cause increased odds of sunburn or sensitivity to sun. The retinol is not destroyed by the sun. There is no need to avoid sun exposure. It is a myth that won't die even among skin care companies. Research studies have tested the effect in the strongest sun conditions and found no change in response from skin that had retinol applied to it. The problem is actually the initial irritation to skin when you start using products like retinols can cause skin to redden when hot. It's the heat from a sunny day. Not the sun. It will happen just as much if your nights were to stay hot and you were active. Your face may redden more easily when it's warm and/or you are moving around a lot. It has been thoroughly proven in studies that retinol does not decrease the resistance of skin to sunburns.
