Previously purchased another version with thick padding around the forehead, ears, and back of skull. Liked, but frequently feared my son would snap his neck because of an awkward fall. This helmet is not as soft but offers much better protection for his head. The foam is thick and not easily penetrable by sharp objects that may be near when baby falls. Plus, this helmet is more functional, definitely great for walking indoors, outdoors and other adventure activities. The chin strap is a great fit, soft and comfortable with Velcro.

This helmet is really life saving for crawling baby. At first my baby hesitated little bit to wear it bt now he wears it every morning while playing and banged his head so many times bt even didn't cry. Highly recommend for all the parents.

As mentioned in previous comments it really makes baby’s head sweat! But in terms of safety it is really good (only for indoor daily routine) especially if your baby is unstoppable at home.

We purchased this helmet to help protect our 8 month old's head from our wooden floor (he's the youngest of 3). And it has saved him from quite a few bonks! Light weight, breathable, adjusts easily, stays on, doesn't smell. Great quality, love it!
