Great book full of insights. I didn't understand how to retire and this book is such a truthful insightful way to retire with money.

As I told a friend recently, 'it's time for me to stop flying by the seat of my pants.' I've always had the lucky knack of successfully winging it. But fooling around at my age is just that, foolish. "Newly Revised & Updated for 2023" is not a new Edition. But it comes with a few new pages of timely updates. Thanks Suze for caring enough about your followers to bring out this newly updated version.. While it is lacking is a guide to the "new stuff"....new entries do say something like 'As of early 2023..." No problem. I reread the whole book. My first read was from the library so this time I was able to highlight everything wanted to revisit. I have followed Suze for decades. I have a mind to follow her to the Bahamas!!! What a girl! She lives the dream. She really is a mentor-come-true for me. I like that she is one year older than me and she's fled to the Bahamas to 'go-fishing' . I've read and followed lots of fine financial gurus. So important to be well-read if you do your own planning. So important to know what is going on. I am so excited to be finally putting my retirement plan into place this year-thanks in part to this book- and I'm turning 72 or 73 next month. ;-) I've never been good with numbers. Much more a visual person.. With Suze, I can 'see' what she's saying.. if that makes sense. As a sculptor, I see myself scribbling on bits of paper and pasting each scrap into place. Or maybe I'll buy a giant foam core board and draw columns out to 100. Suze's repetitiveness..trust me, you need this stuff to be imprinted in your mind to ultimately trust in yourself and your ability to construct this grand shebang of a final financial chapter. Choose well, starting with yourself! Cheers! Perfect Guide for anyone over Fifty, as the title says.

I am recently retired and this book is already very helpful. Good simple topics that are important to be aware of. $25 at B&N. 😳
