Any studies regarding its effectiveness?

There are studies..you can find them with Google. From personal experience, I can tell you that a year ago I was esperiencing pains inmy hips and knees such that it was becoming difficult to walk upstairs or get out of my car after a half hour drive. My physical trainer recommended Serrapeptase. I ordered the dosage used in the studies in January, 2013. Within 2 weeks I felt a profound reduction in pain; 9 months later I am able to do everything I could do 30 years ago without after effects. I cannot be without it.

does this product still contain "enteric coating (HPMCP)." as listed on the amazon product description page?

Judging by some of the replies you've gotten, I'm not sure most people understood what you were asking, or why. I've been hunting for clarification myself. I've been looking at the high potency version of this supplement. I can't see anywhere that they are using enteric coating (maybe they were in the past?). It seems they are (now) using something called Serrateric. This is how it is described: "The serrapeptase is formulated with Serrateric(TM), a superior alternative to enteric coating that protects the enzyme until it reaches the intestine for optimal absorption." I'm trying to find the best source of serrapeptase that has the highest potency and does NOT use enteric coating. Has anyone used this for Morton's neuroma?

I used this product for Morton's Neuroma in May 2017. I had read to use it for a minimum of 30 days. I took this exact brand and strength Serrapeptase. Used three caps in AM on empty stomach. after about 4 days my excruciating and disabling pain was pretty much gone! I went ahead and took the pills for 30 days even though the bulk of the pain was gone. In the past year I think I've used it three additional different times when I started having some pain (but it was never the excruciating/disabling pain again), and the longest I took it was one week at a time. Never again did I have that dramatic result, although I didn't start off at the same point since it wasn't the excruciating/disabling pain. Some times when I take this it bothers my guts (frequent trips to the toilet), but other times it has no GI affect on me (strange). As a bonus, my sinuses do feel better after a round of this.
