PRINCETON ARTIST BRUSH CO. Series 4050 Synthetic Sable Watercolor Brushes 6 Short Handle Liner, Animal Hair

The round brush Princeton 4050 series size 6 I had ordered was received today, and was defective, and poor quality. I was very surprised. It is frayed and not in good shape. There is no pointed tip and it does not bounce back when touched. I did not use it and am in the process of returning it. It looks like a used brush with the tip cut off! Princeton brushes are amazing, so I think this may have been sent in error?

My favorite paintbrush as a muralist. Small, holds lots of paint, perfect lines. I’ve ordered a few of the larger ones, but they don’t have the length this one has. They seem to be fat and a bit long, the length and width on this brush is perfection. I wish they could find the balance of this one in the larger sizes. Maybe the bristle thickness is to soft for the larger brushes. Anyway, this one is pretty perfect!

Excellent brushes. Good elasticity, keeps its point, very durable, and reasonably priced. These are my new "go to" brushes.

I purchased because several of my favorite artists recommended this brush on their You Tube videos. Like Jenna Rainey, Lindsay Weirich, Ellen Criminal, and Maria Raczynska.
