I'm just conquering my fear of anchovies to use in sauces for that umami taste. Do these disintegrate quickly in pan as i hope they do?! Thanks.

Hi Joanne! When I bought these, I didn't realize that they weren't fillets. They are the whole fish(like canned sardines). Anyway, I never cook with anchovies. I only use them in my salad, so I can't help you there. I'm not sure if this is what you want if you're going to use them for a hot dish. You might also need the fillets. Hope that helped!
