Q: What is the shelf life on these bars?

After 4 or 5 years when I ran out of food the Met-RX was all I had: ate it and I am still fine. Like that 50 year old McDonalds burger in the news- some foods seem to last for years and Met-RX is one. Tasted great, I did not feel bad after eating it, and I am still alive. Kind of a survival food.
