The absolute classic! Connect 4 is apparently supposed to be for ages 6 and up, but I haven’t bothered to tell my 4-year-old that, so she doesn’t know she’s not supposed to be playing it. I bought it as I thought it would be a fun way to help her learn to strategise and think ahead a bit, and she’s getting on really well with it. And it is indeed great fun! The set itself is decent quality, sturdy, and easy to store in its box after each session (the legs of the frame can be easily removed). If I were to change anything about it, I would include two little bags for keeping the counters safe/organised in the box. As it is, I’m using sandwich bags for that for now.

I bought the Connect 4 board game and it’s been a brilliant addition to our games collection. It’s simple, quick to set up, and fun for all ages. We’ve played it so many times already and it never gets boring. It’s one of those timeless games that everyone enjoys. The quality of the game overall is great, and the pieces slot in smoothly. However, the legs are a little flimsy. We’ve had this game before and one of the legs snapped, so it’s something to be aware of.

My (adult) kids had an absolute blast with this game Although I can see it being enjoyed from 4 to 84 I also like that you can store the tokens inside it too, they even let me have a couple of go’s too. Different tables would, I assume, give you different bounce responses too

This isn’t a great re-working of a classic! I shouldn’t have fallen for the fun name! It’s basically flip the discs in off the table to try to get a line. Keep to the classic version!
