I bought this for use on my John Deere Gator 6x4. Since it doesn't have power steering it was sometimes cumbersome spinning the wheel by hand. The addition of the steering knob really makes it easier to make those tight turns. It was easy to install in minutes, is made well, feels good in your hand, and is the perfect size. You can buy others more expensive, but I doubt they are any better than this one.

Yes if your use a John Deere tractor mower 100 series up to 700 series. It makes your steering when mowing a lot easier and efficient. Almost like a zero turn mower. Kinda.... Ask a farmer that use them on there older tractors they will give you a thumbs up It built well durable. Probably get 5 seasons of mowing out of them.

When my husband first installed this steering wheel spinner knob, he gave it a test turn and immediately started grinning like a kid at Christmas. With repeated “Oh yeah, this is so nice,” and “Oh yeah, this is cool,” you’d think he just bolted on turbo boosters. He regularly says, quite seriously, “Everyone else on the road is jealous they don’t have a spinner.” 😂 I tell him he's right. He added it to his 2009 Ram 1500 in just a couple of minutes. The rubber insert didn’t fit—his steering wheel is thicker, and he would’ve preferred to use it for extra protection, but it still tightened down solid without it. Using the included Allen wrench, he moved it from top right to bottom right and had it secure and snug with zero wiggle - he was off spinning in no time. The knob itself has a fun tire-inspired design and feels solid in hand. It has a great grip, comfortable feel, and smooth rotation when turning—definitely earns “Smiles per mile.” He’s mostly used it for in-town driving and tight turns, where it makes steering feel effortless and fun. The grippy, tire-inspired design is comfortable in hand, and the rotation is smooth while turning—especially at lower speeds. It really shines during tight corners, parking, or in-town driving. At higher speeds, though—like sharp country curves at 35+ mph—he avoids using it. There’s a bit of vertical play if you pull up, which makes him cautious about the long-term durability and safety. So for high-speed turns, it’s hands-off. Installation was quick and easy, even though no instructions were included.
