55 inch Wooden stick is a great size to old on to while hiking. It is fully equipped with a working compass and a thermometer thermostat. This stick has it all and beats the competition. The wood grain is superb, excellent finish, sturdy and has both rubber and metal spike tip for all terrains. I used it here in the snow northeaster storm in New Jersey, worked as expected. Very attractive and functional walking stick. I've only used it once, but glad I bought it. When weather permits I'll be back out on the trail with my new walking stick. Kinda feels good in hand and will likely motivate me to walk or hike more often. I'm 6' and when gripping the handle it's probably at max length for me. So if you are under 6' you may want to consider a 50" model or one that is gripable a few inches down the shaft. I bought 2 other similar models for my friends.

It was a steal to get this stick for the price I paid for, it was so good in fact I wondered if it was maybe TOO good. Even when I was finally given a tracking number and realized DHL was shipping it, I was kinda skeptical since I've never seen one of their trucks around here. But all my fears were for naught! While the tracking number didn't work until after it arrived a few cities over, shipping was faster than expected. When I opened the package I was very pleased by how beautiful the wood was. It is not plain and completely sanded down but rather has a complex look with the layers and the finish. The metal tip looks sturdy and deadly to fight back snakes, and I have put my 160+ lbs on the stick to test it out and nothing broke, not the stick or my hip haha. Very happy with the purchase and I am even now looking for another one for a family member. Hopefully I get a good deal on the next one too! Definitely get one of these beautiful and efficient sticks for either an easier time on the trails even just a walk around the neighborhood.

Terrific buy. Nice and light weight. Very sturdy. My boyfriend had a stroke, shattered hip and fractured back and he uses it all the time. He had to change the leather strap to a cloth strap just because it pinched his skin a bit.

This hiking stick is awesome. I mount medallions on my sticks and this one is nice sized to mount lots of them. Very sturdy and well made, I'll be ordering more for my friends.
