My journey through the natural hair care world has been long and arduous, but I think it has finally found a happy ending with this shampoo. I have thick, shoulder length wavy-curly hair that has a tendency to get weighed down by "natural" shampoos and completely stripped by more conventional ones - in both cases, it completely loses its will to curl. This stuff, however, doesn't do those things. Even a tiny amount leaves my hair actually feeling clean - even though it doesn't suds up, somehow I can still work it through my thick hair - and after I rinse, I don't feel like I need to follow it with something harsher to really wash my hair. It's clean. After it's dry, my hair feels soft and bouncy - yes, bouncy, which seems impossible to achieve with natural shampoo. It curls better now than it has in months. I will admit, it doesn't look like hair straight from the salon, but I'm guessing if that's what you were after, you wouldn't be here reading this review. This shampoo has also cured my scalp woes - it tends to get dry and itchy, while my hair somehow gets limp and oily. Not so since using this stuff. It's gotta be those awesome-smelling essential oils. I swear it's a magic potion. I initially used it alongside the corresponding conditioner, but found, even in my dry house in the winter, that it was too much moisture for my hair. (I'm probably the only curly girl out there who can't handle conditioner, but that's my life.) I quit using that and now use only the shampoo, and my hair is happy. Once every couple weeks, I do like to go through and wash with a semi-conventional/semi-natural shampoo just to clarify things a little. However, I've got some detox issues and my hair isn't the healthiest right now, so I would imagine most people wouldn't actually need to do this. I will also say - when I received these bottles (I got the 1oz travel/tester size), I was shocked at how small they were, and imagined they'd only last for a few washes. However, it's now been 2 months of consistent use (a couple squirts once or twice a week), and I'm only halfway through the bottle. That's right. That's a quarter of an ounce per month. This stuff is outrageously expensive, but if you go through it as slowly as I do, it actually works out to be much more affordable. If you're considering this stuff, try it!! I highly recommend!

Let me just say that I have been a wayward hair addict binge dieting on the latest and greatest for troubled damaged hair. I've been making the push to find not just healthy products but thoughtfully harvested and designed products that actually work better because of the passionate attention put into them. This lead me to Living Libations and their Wildcrafted True Blue Spirulina Shampoo. My hair washing routine starts with a hundred brush strokes and finger combing to remove any tangles before I wash; then I apply a liberal dose of shampoo. Wow!!!!! What is happening? It feels like my hair took a deep breath of oxygen. No way, can you feel hair breathe?!?!! Leftover tangles fall lose, my hair sighs, I couldn't have been more surprised if Fabio entered my bathroom and messaged this shampoo in himself. I cannot explain the sheer bliss after 15 years of merely acceptable auditions culminating in a shampoo to swoon over. As for the price I admit I was scared, but how much the average person pays for barely acceptable products who's makers care little to nothing about their Impact on intended users or the environment where they were sourced. Your paying for a product that works beyond belief and if you want beyond belief results you have to support the brands giving you the results, it cost money to source ingredients at this high a level. Three cheers for Living Libations!!! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to have soft, shiny, beautiful, good smelling hair that sings and receives about as much compliments as a newborn.

Ok product and leaves no buildup on my scalp. Really expensive is the downside😬 I am going to persue other natural products that could be cheaper because I am not that impressed. It is worth trying and I was not disappointed but do feel there is a discrepancy between the price and what it does for my hair.

This is the best natural shampoo I have ever tried. From Yarok to Rahua hair care I have tried a lot! I live in a place with pretty awful hard water, which leads to build up and scalp issues for me. Finding a shampoo that helps has been a struggle, but I have finally found something! I am so glad that Amazon carries this. The smell is not my absolute favorite, but the shampoo has really made a positive difference in the condition of my hair. So if you absolutely have to have a shampoo that smells like cake or an island getaway you may be out of luck. However, the smell has definitely grown on me over time. Also, the ingredients are awesome and natural! Don't skimp on how much you use. I find I need to use quite a bit for a good lather, which really makes a difference. Overall, I high recommend the shampoo and the company. Also, shipping was super fast. Great shampoo and service!

In love with the smell. This bottle will go fast, I don’t understand how others say it last long, it is a 1oz bottle but I don’t mind, best natural smell ever!
