Pilot light will not stay on . Hasn't worked since the day it arrived. I was foolish enough to ignore the bad reviews this product had received from previous buyers . Astonishing that Amazon permits such a shoddy and dangerous product to be marketed on its site. !? Couldn't be bothered with the time consuming and expensive Return process . Apparently this company refuses all contact with dissatisfied customers anyway. So I learned a valuable lesson for £80 . Amazon should be ashamed but doubt whether they give a monkeys .. !!

Haven’t tried it yet as picture on Amazon misleading. Shows heater + hose + gas bottle. I didn’t order gas as it looked as though it was included in order!

We propose to use this when the cooler mornings and evenings of Autumn in the Spring / Early Summer. (replaces electric heater) It is normally on for an hour or so at the time. There are three fixed heat settings and perhaps a more variable setting arrangement would be better, being able to adjust from low to high. Easy to start, but necessary to turn on and off as described. Others have reported high heat inside with the gas cylinder becoming very warm BUT we did not find this, we did place the cylinder not toughing the metal of the heat shield inside and found that this heat shield did not become other than warm. Pleased with this heater. The supplied regulator did not fit Calor Gas Irish Butane cylinder and we had to buy and change the regulator. DISSAPOINTMENT in that out of 4 large items from Amazon over a year or two 3 have had some damage presumably by the carriers. This heater had four small impact damage to the cardboard box, one of these reached through to chip the paint on the front of the heater. It is minor but is there and annoying, and if ever I wanted to sell will may affect the resale price! The item is shipped id it's showroom box without any additional packing. Amazon have return procedures but such a hassle. Compensation ? T S Hamilton

This was an interesting buy. Turned up on time and really looks great. My issue is--NO ONE WILL SELL ME A GAS CYLINDER!! B&Q-Nope! Local caravan dealer-Nope! Homebase (Now gone)-Nope Local garage-Nope! So I have this great portable fire in new condition, but absolutely no use to me!

I have liked everything about the gas firer. It heats the living room within around 5 minutes, then switch it down to low heat to keep the room warm. It was very easy to assemble and easy to move about the room. I would advise people to buy one or two good value for money and saves on big bills more so now due to the rise In energy costs.

I bought this cabinet heater several weeks ago and after assembly I fitted the gas bottle and tried moving the unit ( on a laminate floor) only to have one of the castors collapse so I bought and fitted a set from Amazon. Sadly the metal base which houses the female thread into which the front castors screw is so thin that it buckled due to the weight of the 14kg gas bottle leaving the whole thing leaning forward . I’ve now fitted a metal strip to support the underside of the cabinet body with the castors passing through it. There are no children in the household and the cabinet hasn’t been abused in any way so overall I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of the product.
