PreserVision AREDS Lutein Eye Vitamin and Mineral Supplement, Beta-Carotene - Softgels,120 ct

Just 3 weeks into taking this eye supplement. For some reason they are hard to swallow for me even though I take a anti viral pill somewhat larger. I will say the best way to take them is to tilt your head back and take a large gulp of water. I have tried the chewable tablets and they are much easier to take. My title relates to the fact that they may retard any further degradation in eye sight so I am not likely to be aware of any positive change.

They must be good right? Hell if I know. All I know is I got something called Macular degeneration --I lived too long in the bright sun and now my light sensitive macula is wimping out on me... hey but don't worry, the macula is just the part of the eye that sends images to the brain ...so if you have no brain then no worries--right?. A little on the expensive side. Peace.

I have been wearing glasses since I was 16 or so. I have been taking these every day for years. I feel like they have slightly improved my vision. I still need to wear glasses but when I don't have them on my vision feels a bit less blurry than before I started to take these capsules Even a 10-15 percent improvement helps me a bunch. Overall good for eye health. Will continue to take these long term.
