Depends on what type of fishing you're thinking of doing. This kit as it comes is suitable for fresh water predator species like pike and perch and some salt water species. If you're after starting out on fresh water fishing and after roach, rudd, tench, bream or carp for instance you'll need hooks, floats, weights and bait of course.
