Nutiva Organic Coconut Oil with Butter Flavor from non-GMO, Steam Refined, Sustainably Farmed Coconuts, 14-ounce

My absolute favorite butter flavored coconut oil. Use it for cooking and making stove top popcorn. I've tried others but nothing compares in my opinion. Just wish it wasn't so pricey.

When I was on a Keto and Paleo diet, I was looking for oils and butter made with organic Coconut oil. I found 'Nutiva Organic Coconut Oil with Butter Flavor' at a local health food store. Use it for about 2 years then they stopped carrying it. Was happy to find Amazon carries it. This is not a liquid oil (but thicker like butter). You can use it to cook with (not too high heat) and spread it on toast or other foods. I use it for cooking but mostly on put it on vegetables, sweet potatoes and other foods and on toast too. I love the tastes which is like butter but maybe better than butter. Almost reminds me of popcorn butter. And it doesn't need to be stored in a refrigerator.

I gave up all dairy over 2 years ago and haven't looked back. But I did use ghee on a regular basis for cooking and for popcorn. I have used vegan ghee (from this same company and from others) and was satisfied with it for my curries and such, but I didn't really like it for popcorn. The flavor just wasn't too my liking for that. I decided to try this to see if it was different. And it is. The taste is different from the ghee, and I really like it. It's perfect for popcorn. Makes me feel like I'm back in the past eating popcorn at the drive-in or theater in the 1970's, and I love that. I vastly prefer the taste of plant based butter over the dairy version, but I highly recommend this product. It's a staple in my pantry now.

Very good for air-popped popcorn! Very buttery smell and taste. Love it!

I have bought this product for a long time at $6.00,$7.00, 8.69, and the last one for for $9.99. The taste is nice , not too like popcorn fake , so you can use it for cooking and baking and even on your toast. I like the natural ingredients as well. I've seen the price on this get ridiculous and I can get it cheaper on other sites, I saw it just now for $17.00 and I actually saw this at 29.99 for 14oz. of butter??? Beware and shop carefully! Not sure why Amazon allows this obvious price gauging to continue! I also like the Livlo vegan ghee, no dairy, so when the price gets too high , I can switch to this one. I think the company stopped making it and people who are allergic to dairy lost their main source of butter, luckily I think it's coming back, I hope the price goes down with it's availability!

Taste great

This stuff far exceeds my expectations. Lately I’ve tried a few things on popcorn and I was very disappointed. I have finally found THE product. I don’t know what magic they add to this to make it taste like movie theater butter but it is amazing. It is clearly marked vegan which is important and I also like the brand. So I am not worried about the ingredients in this product - even the coloring is natural. Seriously you must try this. I just put a bit in the microwave in a little glass bowl for maybe seven seconds and it was ready to be drizzled over popcorn. I did add the slightest pinch of salt to the glass bowl as well. And that is all you need for delicious popcorn. Seriously amazing. And unlike melted vegan butter which, because to melt it you have to make it warm, it kind of shrinks the popcorn when you put it on. That is not the case here as you just need to melt the oil - not make it warm. It is perfect drizzled on popcorn I am so impressed. Wow! wow! wow!

Learned from a pro this is a not-so-secret weapon for making authentic tasting movie theater popcorn at home.

This is the second time I ordered this coconut oil. It’s delicious and the combination of healthy fats and the butter flavor is delicious!! I really recommend this to anyone looking for a healthy alternative to butter. Will order more soon! :)
