Victron Energy BlueSolar MPPT Solar Charge Controller - Charge Controllers for Solar Panels - 100V, 20 amp, 48-Volt

I have a lot of Victron controllers. They work well and last.

Exceeded my expectations! Great little unit I purchased another one!

I specifically connect via USB cable to victron connect to program this unit. What i like about this unit is that it can do up to 20 Amps output to other devices, meaning you can set a voltage to only give electrical power when your voltage is above a certain level, let's say a 30% charge. Great for charging things and keeping them working. I love also the 30 amp units. What is great about this unit is that it does 48v.

UPDATE: now 3 months later, after buying the dongles and keeping software uptodate, one of my chargers keeps going in Float mode, even at low battery voltage. AGAIN there is no support from Victron. They have a community support, where I see that many people have the same problem. Victron company seems to leave all these people struggling without giving any support. This company sucks. I Bought 3 of these. It said it has bluetooth, but it requires a dongle, which is not clearly mentioned. It is difficult to make them work together on the same battery bank. I tried to contact product support in the country of origine (Holland), but theu did not want to entertain my questions. They told me I had to contact my dealer. But it is impossible to contact the dealer at Amazon. I planned to convert and expand my system to all Victron, but since there is no decent product support, I would not recommend this to anybody. UPDATE Now again another 3 months later: 3 of the 4 MPPT's go in float mode all the time without any clear reason: battery voltage is 48V or lower. I just cannot get them to go into charge mode. As usual: no support from Victon at all. I am now at the point that I am gonna throw out the whole thing.

Do not purchase this model (BlueSolar MPPT 100-20), you will not be able to adjust its settings unless you purchase a connection cable (to Bluetoothor to USB) and it is $30 to add to the cost. On top of that the connector is not soldered to the circuit board but glued (see pictures) so one may easily rip it off while trying to connect the cable (I did). Otherwise the charge control seems to work well, at the moment. Get the SmartSolar 100-20 instead, it provides Bluetooth connection and it is less than the cost of the BlueSolar plus the data cable.

Great value for the money!!! Works perfectly, easy to connect, and just the right size. Highly recommend!!

Wired it right up, and it immediately started working as described.

I returned it because it was not Bluetooth built in and I can't buy the smart Bluetooth dongle
