Q: Can someone without contacts use this for dry eyes?

I don't know why you couldn't. Though it's probably more expensive than drops just for eyes. I only use one contact, but I put it in both eyes in the morning and after hot yoga when my eyes are dry.

Q: do I use this while my contacts are in?

You can use it anytime. I put a couple of drops in my eyes before putting in my contacts and any time during the day that my eyes feel dry or gritty.

Q: the instruction says to throw them away 90 days after opening them. Is that the expiration date?

No, it's not the expiration date they can stay unopen for a long time but you're only supposed to use them 90 days after the first day of them being open, I assume so it's less likely you get an eye infection.

Q: Does this work well with soft lenses. And will it mess up my contacts if I use a different contact solution then this brand?

This product is made for use with soft contact lenses. Should not matter what solution you use.
