George McCrae/Rock Your Baby

I bought this mainly because I am a fan of the songs of KC and Rick Finch, though of course I loved McCrae's voice on these cool disco tracks. Listening to these two albums again after all these years is a real pleasure... a guilty pleasure in some ways. There is artistry here, but that isn't what this music is about. It is about enjoyment, fun, dancing, singing along, and maybe escaping from the heaviness of the world for a while as one does so. Good stuff!!!!

To me, this cd cronicles the best 2 albums from George McCrae. I grew up listening to his music and now as an adult I can appreciate it even more. Listening to this cd brings back memories of my childhood back in the 70's when it seemed things were less complicated in the world. I highly recommend this cd to anyone that is a George McCrae fan or to anyone that wants to listen to good r&b music from the 70's.

I bought a George Mccrae CD from this seller and it came early and is in new condition. The price was right on too.

What an absolute Gem of an CD (2 on 1). Perfect upbeat, uplifting grooves that sound so fresh and clean.Nothing here bloated or heavy in Studio Production. Just a hard seasoned Miami Funk Band grooving away in the background. Songs are catchy, hooks are awesome. Perfect to add Sunshine to a rainy day. BUY THIS VERSION for value for money or if you are curious what George McCrae did off the back of "Rock Your Baby" single, for a couple of years at least.

Two great albums on one cd I highly recommend this cd for George McCrae fans! I had the LPS once so I knew I found a bargain.
