Kept getting large leak detected code. It’s usually a loose or damaged gas cap. That wasn’t my issue. After replacing gas cap I still got the code and started getting other codes as well. My vehicle even went into “limp” mode several times. I narrowed the problem down to either the Evap vent valve or purge valve. Installation was straightforward with removal of the old unit being the most difficult and time consuming due to corrosion of some of the metal parts. No more codes or operational issues after installation.

Installation was easy. It fixed my evaporation code on my 04 chevy Colorado.

worked good for about a year. the design is not oem but fit. The evap leakage was gone and light went out. its a good value. I will be needing to get another bc it eventually got stuck again. Im not sure if it bc of the unit of just how it is with these this is my third older chevy and seem to be a problem. Oem would be your best option but this will get you going

Fit and works on my 2007 chevy colorado LS 2.9 liter extended cab 4 cylinder truck. Seems to be as good of quality part as my AC Delco brand I'm replacing. This unit was just cheaper so I bought this one. Would purchase again. Seems to be a common problem with GM vehicles. 3rd one I've had to replace.
