I purchased the 3XXL shirt for my 43 lb. Husky who was going bonkers scratching and licking his sides due to allergies. It is snug, but because fabric is 95% cotton and 5% spandex it is stretchy enough to fit. It would be nice though if it came in a larger size. These shirts were perfect for what I needed them for—covering my dog’s side and arms to protect him from licking his fur off and damaging his skin. As an added bonus it mellows him out like the Thundershirt and lessened the scratching. It is a well made shirt that comes in two nice colors and looks really cute on my dog. The fabric is durable and hasn’t frayed or ripped even after being repeatedly scratched. The seams are solid and have held up well considering the tight fit and that I have to stretch it to put it on my dog. I only washed it once and didn’t put it in the dryer because I didn’t want it to shrink, but the fabric looked the same after washing. I also like the cut of the belly so that when he goes to the bathroom, he doesn’t soil the shirt. Plus, you get two shirts so that you have an extra shirt while one is being washed which was important since the second I take it off, my dog starts to scratch himself silly. Overall this is probably one of the nicest shirts I have come across. It has been really helpful in stopping my dog from itching, I just wish it would come in a larger size.

My dog has cushings disease and has lost lots of hair. I put these little shirts on him to prevent sunburn in summer months.

Purchased 3XL - cute but Runs small, couldn’t get over his legs and head . Had to cut it down the back and add Velcro to close. I have a 50 lb golden doodle

The material is nice. It is soft and thicker than I expected. In cooler and windier months, this will keep her warm. The stretchy material makes it easy to put on her and the elasticity doesn’t impact my dog’s movements. She looks so cute in it. Make sure to measure your dog’s chest so that you can pick a size that fits well.
