ElectroCookieProto Shield Kit Compatible with Arduino Uno R3, Expansion Prototyping PCB Board (3 Types, 9 Pack)

I have purchased numerous Electrocookie products and they are always of a high quality and work as intended. Note that these are not gold plated but soldering to them is just as much a breeze. Thanks to Electrocookie for making cool, affordable things.

There are three different layouts in this set, the blue ones worked well for what I was doing, specifically interfacing to a DIP-16. I can see where other projects could use the red and green layouts too, it just depends on what you are trying to do. The board quality was good, and solder flowed well onto the pads.

Good for the price. Not suitable for high-end work.Perfect for hobby-slash-arduino type applications.Not intended for any kind of precision work, though…

These shields worked just fine with my Arduino. I like the fact that they come in three different flavors.

Of all of the proto shields I have purchased these are by far the best yet. The 3 different designs are great. I love that the header pins aren't pre-soldered. Many uses. Very well done and high quality.

These come with a bunch of header pins to plug into arduino. However there are not socket side to the pins so this is the last shield you can add to the arduino. So if you wanted to stack shields to create a system (which is my goal) you would have replace the supplied pins with sockets.

completely unsuitable without extensive use of jumpers, etc., as 90% of the terminations are not connected to any other. Not set up as an average breadboard at all. Component mounting pads should be continuous in rows of at least two or three to allow connection of other components without having to resort to silly ass, ugly jumpers which create more hazards and connection issues. Junk! Will be returning.
