Stacy’s Pita Chips, Parmesan Garlic & Herb, No Artificial Colors or Flavors, 16 oz Bag

My husband and six year old cannot get enough of these. I love eating them with hummus. So yummy! My review philosophy: As a longtime customer of Amazon, I depend on others' honest reviews. I do my best to provide that same courtesy to others. I purchase lots of items through Amazon, some I get for free, some I get at a discounted rate, and some I pay full price. I will always disclose if I receive an item for free or a discounted rate. I do a lot of reviews so here is a break down on how I determine my star rating of a product: 5 stars – I love it! It is awesome and I highly recommend everyone to purchase this product! 4 stars – I like it, but there are some flaws. Don't we all have flaws? I would purchase again. 3 stars - It was okay, but I would probably not buy it again unless there are no other options. 2 stars – There may be worse products out there, but you can definitely find better choices. 1 star – I dislike the product, I wish I had not purchased it and recommend others to not purchase.

Trader Joe's used to be my pita chip of choice; my friends like them, and as I rarely ate them myself, they served the dual purpose of pleasing both the friends and the pocketbook. Then I bought a bag of these at Costco (a HUGE bag), and became hooked on them. The TJ chips - all of them,regardless of cooking method - leave an after-taste in my mouth that speaks strongly of stale cottonseed oil. I'm not suggesting they're cooked in cottonseed oil, or that the cooking oil is stale, just that is what it tastes like to me. Not particularly appetizing. These are tastier from the beginning, and leave no unpleasant after-taste. If you're having a big party, the size they sell at Costco is probably the best deal. But if you're serving a small gathering, this size will better serve you, by not leaving a mass of left-over chips that will go stale.

I like these better than tortilla chips. They are good with salsa, hummus, ranch dip, tuna sandwiches. The only thing I don't like about these is that there are an awful lot of tiny pieces. Being an efficient snacker though, I've found that putting a scoop of ranch dip in a bowl, then dumping the chip bits on top and eating it with a spoon works fine. Not sure why I'm not losing weight though.

I was happy to see these were available in Pantry because I love them and they were cheaper than my local grocery store. They arrived in just three days, safely nested in cardboard and bubblewrap. Amazingly, the package of chips was perfectly intact and the chips were not crushed. There were less broken chips then I usually get in a bag from the store! I was amazed at how fresh these chips were. In fact, the bag had a vacuum seal to it. The factory must have packaged the chips while they were still warm and after the bag was sealed and the chips cooled, a vacuum formed sucking all the air out of the bag! This was my second Pantry order in a week. As I write, I've got another on the way. Since I can't drive anymore, Pantry's a Godsend. Everything's fresh, arrives fast and intact and has long expiration dates. I'm definitely adding more Stacy's Pita Chips to my next order.

I thought this would have more Parmesan flavor..it didn’t. I also didn’t pay attention to the price per box. It is really too expensive to purchase again. I really don’t recommend this product.

Both the wife and I really enjoy Stacy's Pita Chips. Great price but the product came to us smashed. Called Amazon and received a full refund and kept the product. Though the product was quite broken up still tasted great.
