NuPlay Rubber Mulch Landscaping Bark – Rubber Nugget Weed Barrier Garden Ground Cover, 4 Pack, Earthtone

I ordered 20 bags of this product in EARTHTONE and was very pleased with it. Subsequently, I ordered an additional 40 bags in EARTHTONE; However, this time, I received those 40 bags in REDWOOD. I’ve already laid the first 20 bags in the flower bed. Now I’m stuck with 40 bags (1,600 lbs) of the wrong color mulch that need to be returned. Highly annoyed - I will never be able to move all of this by myself! 😡Can someone from the company contact me so I can get the right color mulch because 1/3 of my flower is already covered in EARTHTONE? I really liked the look of the mulch and just wish they had not mixed up my order. I can’t give more than 2 stars because sending the wrong mulch is a big deal. I am willing to revisit this review if the company can rectify this 1,600 lbs. mistake.

Very pleased with how this project turned out . For future maintenance reasons I opted to spend a bit more money and use this product as it does not break down or fade. I am a disabled senior and and I can no longer get down and weed flower beds and bark is a nightmare to keep looking fresh. The black goes beautifully with my grey deck and grey house with black shudders. I purchased the 5 gallon size fabric pots this year with handles. I planted my annuals in those with miracle grow potting soil and the flowers love these pots. I set 5 of these pots full of petunias on top of the tire chucks in a line, in one flower bed and the look is clean and neat. Those fabric pots are so nice, they drain well but in the extreme heat we are having don't dry out too quickly either. The plants are thriving. I really did my homework before investing in this product, but I am very pleased and I think I will be very glad that I chose this option over others.

I generally prefer to use natural products when gardening, but there are two major issues with traditional wood or bark mulch. Firstly, unless one has a way to get it from a brick-and-mortar store, which many of us New Yorkers do not and did not during the pandemic, the only way to have it delivered is in bulk. I only needed four bags, not 40, so that was a non-starter. Secondly, wood and bark mulch degrades each season, which can be problematic when used in containers. I needed to preserve moisture and minimize weeds without adding bulk. Rubber nuggets work exceptionally well, are inert and should last for years. They look great too, and I was able to buy just the four bags I needed.

Used it to cover gaps and add a bit of weight for a plastic palm tree. The mulch is very easy to handle and this soil color is great if you don't want it to be noticeable. It fulfills that requirement perfectly.You can go through the bag quite quickly, so I would find it to be a bit expensive for any other application, but worked great for our needs.The product does have a bit of a smell, which has slowly faded away but comes back a bit during warm days.

I ordered the 10 bag option and used it all for the area I was working in. Need about another 4 bags. However I believe I overpaid. From the local store you could get a similar product for about $5 dollars cheaper. It does look good and am very impressed with the difference it made to the front of the house.

Long lasting. Look great!! It was hard to tell how many bags we needed so I'm definitely purchasing more. The longevity of the product outwards the price for sure. Think about how much mulch you'd have to buy in 12 years, compared to just the initial cost of this product!
