Naturigin Black 2.0 Permanent Hair Colour with Natural Ingredients - No Ammonia

I’m allergic to mostly all hair dyes this one I had an allergic reaction still but it gives u what u want

I’m a 56 year old African American and if I let the gray come in, there’s a lot of it. This dye covered all of the gray and left a nice shine. The formula is whiteish when applied ( which made me and my beautician a little nervous), but eventually it turned to black. Will definitely buy again.

My journey to organic/natural products has been a long, trial-and-error search. My natural hair color is a cool-tone ash blonde, and even after I’ve darkened my hair, some black dyes won’t last very long. I’ve even tried indigo powder, and that really didn’t do anything for me either. Anyway, it’s been really difficult finding that color that doesn’t have any harsh chemicals, so with that said, this is the best at-home black hair dye I've ever used. It lasts pretty long, but I also don’t shampoo my hair. I also don't really use that many products in my hair, either: a leave-in conditioner twice a month and use a heat protectant every other day. The only issue I have is the permanent aspect, since I'm not seeing any semi or demi-permanent options from Naturigin (hopefully one day this will change!). While this dye doesn't have the harsh chemicals that are typical with most dyes in the American market, I kind of wish they had a formula with a process that wasn't permanent. I've read that darker dyes are less damaging than lighter dyes, so I can only imagine this being a main concern for blondes. Also to give you a heads up: the packaging art wasn’t the same as pictured. The box I received had the Asian model, but the dye is the same. Update: So I bought a box of the dark coffee brown hair dye and then dyed this over it - it seems to stick a little longer, but I'm still seeing some dark brown streaks. My skin is pretty sensitive, but I haven't gotten any chemical reactions like some of the other people, which is unfortunate. I may give other dyes a shot, but the price for how much you're getting + my experience with it has been overall good, I might come back to this one.
