This MARSLABO Dog Car Seat is just right for my little YorkiPoo. He is 9 lbs and can sit up and look around or lay down and relax. The height is adjustable so for a dog who may get car sick, you can lower it so the dog can't see outside. The quality is excellent and great for the price. It can be removed/installed very easily. Unlike some other fabric products, this item has no smell whatsoever. The MARSLABO Dog Car Seat is perfect for my little YorkiPoo, who weighs 9 pounds. The quality is excellent, and it's a fantastic value for the price. Additionally, it is very easy to install and remove. Unlike some other fabric products, this one has no odor at all.

Easy to install. My chihuahua loves it. Now he can see something besides the glove box! Fits both my car and my truck easily.

I got this booster seat for my cat since it will enable him to actually see out of the car. It seemed secure, sturdy, and comfortable, and most importantly it said it was OK to install in the back seat. So all these things are true, and I am very glad that I got this booster seat, even if my cat still hates car time and will meow for the entire drive. What has inspired me to write this review, however, is how challenging installing this seat in the BACK is for SEDANS. The good news is that because of this, I learned that it actually is possible to lower my back seats and how to do so. The bad part is, I had to clear out my entire trunk (which is usually very full bc I have a lot of anxiety and like to carry my entire home with me) and then lower the correct seat side so I could snap the appropriate strap behind it. It was a physically challenging process and I may have sustained a slight injury in doing so. I thought it was just me and my ignorance (of my car and cars in general) that made it so difficult. But I recommended this car seat to my friend for her dog, and she and her husband recently bought and installed it. In his sedan. And they too had problems putting the entire thing together and installing it properly. And they are really smart so this is not a matter of intelligence. Now this does not take away from how great the booster seat is and how much their dog already enjoys it (although they do need to put an extra cushion at the bottom because she's so small). But I do feel like this is something that sedan owners should be aware of and prepared for. So this product gets 5 stars all around EXCEPT for "easy to install" where it gets 3 stars instead (bc I know not everyone is installing this in their sedan back seat).

This is a really great booster seat. The only issue is the strap that goes around the head rest needs to be longer. It makes the seat not level.

In other reviews, I could not see if the lobster clip and eyelet were sharp or had rounded edges. This was a major concern for me. The eyelets are nicely blunt rounded edges with no metal spurs. The lobster clips are heavy duty. The DIY package was eco-packaged, using minimal material and came with all items described. I added the toy chameleon. (Sorry, it doesn't come with the package.)The setup was a cinch. Full length velcro strips secure the metal frame. A pleasant surprise was that all the raw edges were bound! That shows attention to detail. It is emblematic of quality and pride in workmanship. All materials are good quality. If taken care of properly, this seat will far outlast others that are more concerned with expediency than longevity. Photo #1 & 11 show the smooth heavy duty side eyelets that thread through the reinforced fabric! I opted to add pieces of "pool noodle" to the top edges of the elevated car seat because I know my dog will rest his head on that edge. The "noodle" was easy to cut with a sharp paring knife and I approximated the slit for the clips to slide through. Then I wrapped the interior lining over the "noodle" and secured it with the velcro. If you look closely, you can see the purple "noodle" peeking out from under the lining. My 12 lb. pomeranian mix loves his elevated basket. So does my 18 year old cat. I might add some eggshell foam padding to the floor of the basket for additional softness, but there is no need for it. There is room below the car seat for extra storage. I had no trouble with the straps around the headrest & easily adjusted it to the height I wanted. The strap went around a normal width backseat. The seat position is straight up or slightly tipped back. The safety strap adjusts so your pet has some movement. It attaches to a separately-purchased vest or harness the dog wears. Never attach the safety strap directly to your pet's collar. I hope this product review has helped you in your decision. I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend it.

Love it for my senior chihuahua. I used to use the AKC seat with the harness holder, but when she got older she injured her spine, so it was uncomfortable for her to be strapped in the car hooked to a harness in the sitting position, so it was bought this. Recently, I accidentally broke the strap by slamming it in the car door when removing it to clean the car, so I decided to purchased 2 more just in case. I love them so much and she loves them. It doesn’t have a harness strap, so if you’re looking for something like that it may not be for you but she definitely is safe and secure in this seat without it. I love and she loves it. It’s comfortable and have plenty of space for her to be both secure and not feel cramped in an uncomfortable position. I highly recommend it for any senior toy breed or anyone who wants both comfort, safety, and good aesthetics.
