Breastfeeding had not come totally easy for us, my son's latch was OK but I had to have an emergency c-section and was limited on the types of holds I could manage. When we got home, I couldn't adjust very well to making the holds work without pillow assistance - it felt important to me to keep trying as my son genuinely seemed to prefer breastmilk to the formula and I wanted him to have the best of both options. We managed to get back to the breast a few weeks later but I was needing to hunch over to do football hold + other pillows like the boppi were doing nothing to help. I read reviews suggesting this pillow was a game changer and really wanted something that would make breastfeeding more comfortable. And wow what a difference! No more awkwardly hunching over, Baby could rest comfortably on the pillow while feeding and I could hold him for longer periods after feeds far more comfortably. Feeds became sessions I enjoyed and the soft minky material was super comfy for baby too. There was many a time where he would finish a feed and contentedly enjoy a milk-drunk snooze on the pillow. Perfectly balanced so I could hold him but check my phone or watch something in comfort. Now we both enjoyed breastfeeding time and I looked forward to the nights when I could feed and watch something low stimulating in the wee hours. The material has been easy to wash and still super soft after, the memory foam holds well. About the only minor issue with this one over the other versions is the strap being velcro instead of a clip. The velcro is starting to fray after 3 months use now but still holds mostly OK. Though at this point baby is starting to outgrow the pillow a bit at 4 months (in fairness - he's grown quick!) The part of the pillow that holds the baby has like little "mounds" on the left and right side that help keep baby stable once in position. This helps way more than you think it might! This puchase was absolutely worth it and helped make breastfeeding both enjoyable as well as satisfying. Thank you My Breast Friend!

My Brest Friend turned out to be a very comfortable nursing pillow. It fastens securely around the waist, doesn't slip, and maintains its shape, which keeps the baby stable and reduces strain on the arms. It also provides back support, which helps prevent slouching during feeding. The fabric is dense but soft, and the cover is removable and easy to wash. Overall, it significantly simplifies the breastfeeding process.

My NICU baby was a month premature and only 5lbs 2oz. Being such a little bub, this pillow was a great tool to elevate him and help us on our breastfeeding journey. It's firm, but not too hard and was easy to wash the cover as needed. I appreciated the back support and the pocket to place a rag or my phone. I ended up tipping the ends on the armrests of my chair to help keep him elevated (he had excessive spit up issues that may have been related to dairy in my diet or prematurity). Although he outgrew it after awhile it was worth the investment and helped me to exclusively breastfeed.

It’s amazing. It help me with my baby. The support is amazing and to have the little pillow in the back is amazing now I don’t have anymore back pain. The pillow is enough hard for my baby feel comfortable and I can adjust to my body which is great.

This is a must have for any breastfeeding mothers - especially if you have a c-section and/or have larger breast. You don’t have to mess around with cushion/pillows and it’s so so comfortable for baby as well. Love it! Wish I had it for my first baby but better late than never.

Third time mom, this pillow is perfect. Back support is so nice and it has the perfect height where you don’t have to prop it up with more pillows.

The My Best Friend Pillow is well-made and provides great support in the early months, but I find it a bit too bulky to travel with or move around easily. It’s definitely not the most portable option. Also, as my baby has gotten bigger, the pillow feels too high and less comfortable for both of us. It works well for newborns, but I wish it were more adjustable or compact.

I was so excited/desperate for this purchase and it came out of the package all deformed and broken! For the price this was very unexpected and cheap quality.
