White Mountain Puzzles Candy Wrappers - 1000 Piece Collage Jigsaw Puzzle

This puzzle was the clear winner of about a half-dozen worked by my family over the Christmas break. The best part -- and something ALL puzzles should come with -- the included box stand! Well played, White Mountain. I uploaded a couple pictures of the stand in action. It's so simple... just a small cardboard piece that holds the lid of the box in place for all to view, but is something none of us had ever seen before. As to the puzzle itself, the colors are vibrant, the pieces perfectly cut and the different candy wrappers provided a bit of nostalgic fun, especially for the 'olds' who waxed poetic about candies long forgotten. It wasn't horrendously difficult either... the large variety of colors and fonts used in the different product packaging and logos made it relatively easy to hunt down where pieces should go. (Still took four of us a couple hours to get it all done.) The quality of the puzzle is great; the pieces are uniquely cut (and cleanly cut) enough that there's no mistaking whether a piece is "in" or not. I have since added several other White Mountain puzzles to my shopping cart; they'll be my go-to gift option at this price point and quality.

The puzzle quality is nice. The pieces are thicker and don't peel as easily as some puzzles. They have a website but their customer rewards is a joke so I buy wherever since it doesn't matter. This puzzle was fun to do. It wasn't overly hard or anything.

My family found this to be a really great puzzle. We are not a "puzzle family", but we found the puzzle to be very fun and the crystal clear pictures and heavy-duty pieces made it even more enjoyable. You just can't beat Ravensburger puzzles in quality and manufacturing excellence. I especially loved the "old time" candy/candy bar motif - it was fun to talk to the kids while we put the puzzle together what all the candies tasted like and what were our favorites. I would rate this as not extremely difficult as both my seven year old and three year old daughters were able to participate (with alot of help and coaching from Mom and Dad). We haven't attempted many 1000 piece or more puzzles and working together, (despite the myriad of different colors) it took my wife and I a better part of a night to complete about 60% of the puzzle (at which point the end comes pretty quick since you've established the area boundaries). I think experts could finish it in an hour or two and families could easily finish it over a rainy day/snowstorm weekend.

I've actually looked at this puzzle over the years, this particular one, because I've always wanted to get into puzzles and never have. I started looking at 5000 pieces because anything else would feel too easy (for someone who has done a puzzle now and then but like 300-500 pieces once or twice). I decided to go ahead and get this one. Took two of us 4-5 1-3 hour sessions to finish. This puzzle is hard and fantastic and a lot of fun and my glue is on the way to start the mounting process. Highly recommended, this was a lot of fun! I'm now on my second White Mountain puzzle and looking at their puzzles I just want to get all of them. This second one (cereal boxes) is A LOT harder though!! One thing I found the amusing kind of annoying is that MADE IN THE USA in the lower left corner obscures part of the picture. The first time we thought at first it was part of the puzzle. Now for the second one I know it's not part of the puzzle but it hides that area, and it's not that small.

I've recently caught the puzzle bug, so I was looking for something fun to lure my daughters (10, 11 and 13) into sitting with me...and you know, talking. So, this puzzled looked fun enough. Well, I come home from work yesterday and the puzzle had arrived. The girls and their friends opened up my amazon box (really?) and started the puzzle without me! Five 10-13 year olds grooving to their tunes and finishing up the puzzle as I was preparing dinner. It made for a good atmosphere! The puzzle is well made and the pieces fit together nicely. The pieces are much bigger than the typical puzzle of 1,000 piece variety, so yes, it's a really easy puzzle. It's perfectly suited for their age group (keeps them moving, lots of color, engaging topic). We're going to glue it, mount it on foamboard and hang it up in the our finished basement. Now, to find another one for them!

Fun puzzle and the pieces are great. Easy to put together!

We LOVED this puzzle. No problem pieces. No missing pieces. So much fun. The classic candy was such a joy to stare at. We finished it in a couple days over Christmas and we can't wait to get another from the same company. Great puzzle - hard enough to make it challenging but not so hard you wanted to give up. Pieces look good and are cut well, finished puzzle looks sharp. Will def. be buying some of the others.

So many different candy bars out there. Reminds me of all the neat and great candies out there.

I am a fairly new puzzler and I LOVE White Mountain puzzles! This is the 3rd White Mountain puzzle I have bought from Amazon and I would say that they are fairly good quality. They aren’t as good of quality as the White Mountain puzzles I have bought from a store, but, they are still a good quality. The issues I am talking about are, a lot of pieces are kinda peeling so I have just glued them back together and it isn’t as thick of a puzzle as the other ones. All that said, it was a super fun puzzle, that was fairly easy to do and the pieces only fit where they are supposed to, which is a great thing! I would definitely recommend it!
