Hal's New York Seltzer Carbonated Black Cherry Flavored Sparkling Water, Zero Sugar, Zero Calorie, Zero Carbs, 20 Fl Oz (Pack of 24)

The flavor is pretty good, almost but not quite as good as Polar B.C. If you buy these, let them sit upright for1-2 days after receiving them because, as others have noted, they spray all over even when you open a bottle very slowly [over the sink is what I recommend.] Ironically, they don't seem to retain the fizz as long as Polar but maybe when I open more bottles without the fizz spraying out they will last longer. If Polar wasn't available, I would re-order these, but I'll stick to Polar in future. UPDATE: after a side by side comparison Hal's is as good as Polar. Just don't open them until 1-2 days of sitting after you receive them or you'll get sprayed. The caps are very tight so if you have arthritis or hand weakness you'll need an opener tool. UPDATE: since Amazon won't let me review other Hal's seltzer flavors separately I'll do it here. Hal's watermelon flavored seltzer was a big disappointment: almost no detectable flavor. Hal's. mango was outstanding; if you like mango you'll love Hal's mango seltzer. Hal's vanilla cream has fairly good flavor but not as good as Mango & black cherry.

I was slightly disappointed by the vanilla/cream flavor being much weaker than the Polar vanilla, but Hal's certainly makes up for it in the bubbles department. Even straight out of the refrigerator with no shaking, they will spray your clothes if you open the cap too quick! Patience is a virtue, grasshopper. Open the cap *slowly* and let the gas vent for 15-20 seconds, so that you can enjoy every last drop in your mouth without needing a mop and change of clothes. As someone who likes bubbles in seltzer, Hal's has set the benchmark.

My favorite flavor but hard to find at the supermarket, glad to get a case.

This is nothing like the New York seltzer of old if I would have known that it tasted like this, I would have never purchased this product. This product has definitely been changed never again ! I wasted my money on a product that claimed to be the same as it was in the past
