Gearbox Protective Pickleball Paddle Tape, 3 Tape Strips, 20mm x 320mm

Bought this to protect my rimless paddle edges from scrapes. It was easy to apply and the white stands out on my black paddle, making it easy to spot in a pile. I highly recommend this - especially if you play outside and don't want your paddle to get beat up.

Ok so this tape is pretty good for an edge guard. It’s very thin so be careful peeling it, but it sticks well and looks great.

These are good quality vinyl protective wrapping. Fit our 14mm C14 perfectly, seem very durable. They'll stretch a little, so fold in half and crease the center. Line that up and press onto center of paddle and then gently apply in one with just a slight pull. Then do other direction. If you try to start at one end, you'll be lop sided where the other end stops due to minor stretching.

Great paddle edge protector for my 14 mm Gearbox Power Pro pickleball paddle. I tried to get it in black but that color seems to be unavailable everywhere but white is nice too and does a good job of protecting my edge less paddle from scrapes and scratches. Recommend!

I’ve purchased this item twice now. There aren’t any good directions for this with the packaging for installation but you can search for videos from YouTube from Gearbox which provides very good instruction.This package comes with three edge guards. Each tape lasts about 2 to 3 months for me but it all depends on your own play, and how often you scrape the court when you play.I know that most of the players report 1 to 2 months of play or one order per quarter on average for purchases.Here are the key points from how I install the tape.1) fold the tape in exactly half, identifying the middle of the edge guard. Make sure you can see a crease from the non-adhesive side.2) I peel off a one inch strip from the middle of the backing tape, exposing the adhesive.3) Make sure the paddle edge is clean and dry. Adhere the edge guard with the crease you made earlier aligned to the middle of your paddle.4) Pull back some of the backing from either the left of right side of the crease and expose more of the adhesive surface. Keep the guard close to the paddle edge and pull back gently, laying down the edge guard before the edge guard curls too much. Just a little curl is enough. The edge guard is designed to stretch a little and form to the edge of your paddle better.5) Expose more adhesive surface as you apply the remainder of the guard. Remember to pull very gently as you apply the edge guard.6) Repeat the same process with the other side. If you kept the same amount of tension on the guard as you applied it on both sides, the ends of the tape should be fairly close to the same point on each each side of the paddle.7) When you are satisfied with the application, press down on the top of the edge guard to make sure the tape is securely adhered to the paddle.

I have a older Gearbox paddle that the coating on the edge started to come off. This product is made for this brand of paddles and it fits perfectly. I should have purchased it sooner. I also didn't realize that there were 3 tapes in there!
