Didn't work on my dark hair even though it claims to work

I’ve used Schwarzkopf Color Ultime 1.4 Sapphire Black a few times now, and I’m really happy with how my hair turns out. What I notice most is how shiny and vibrant my hair looks after coloring — it doesn’t come out dull or flat like some other dyes I’ve tried. I was looking for a good black hair color and I bought this brand based off the good reviews I read about it. And honestly, I have to say, super duper pooper impressed with this dye! First 2 months the colour was so shiny and vibrant, and it's now been 3 months, almost 4, the colour has faded but it's such a pretty colour still, the fade is still nice and shiny and works for me. This brand is awesome for black, had to tell you :)

The color is beautiful! The pics do not do it justice. Easy to mix and use. I left it on for mins for all over color. (Use rubbing alcohol if you get it on your skin) One bottle coved all my hair, and it's to the middle of my back. It dries a bit while processing. It took a good 15 minutes of rinsing to remove the color, and it still didn't run completely clear, slight orange still rinses out. (But red color always does that on me) No chemical smell at all, it doesn't sting or irritate my scalp. The after color conditioner is amazing. I used the entire tube and let sit for 5 minutes. My hair shined, and smelled so good!!! I have a perm, the color didn't damage my hair. MOST IMPORTANTLY IT COVERS GRAY HAIR 100%!!!! This is the ONLY color I've used that actually works!! I just used it, so I can't speak to how long it stays bright and shiny. This is my new hair color. It works and it works GREAT!! The color choices are awesome, their not all the dull boring colors... UPDATE So it’s been 5 weeks since I colored my hair. The color still looks vibrant and shiny. My grays are growing back in, so I’m going to use just on my roots this time. Still happy with this product. I won’t use anything but this brand.

Leaves hair soft. Color is as stated. Very happy with this brand.
