WizKids D&D Icons of The Realms: Adult Blue Dragon Premium Figure

It doesn’t feel quite right to call him a “mini”. This is actually a pretty large figure for D&D minis but truly OUTSTANDING details! Definitely a favorite for me. I highly recommend for anyone who plays D&D or those who just love dragons!

Let me start off by saying I got this on sale for $50. For that price, this statue is a steal! It’s a bit fragile, but most quality collectibles are, especially ones this detailed. It will definitely make for a perfect encounter in my campaign, and even if you don’t use minis in your campaigns, this makes an excellent display piece in a game room or or a collection. Just make sure to keep it in a safe spot as a fall will most certainly break the wings off. Definitely looking forward to getting the other chromatic dragons now!

A lot of the prior models have a very glossy base coat plus wash as a quick shortcut to an end result that looks more like an action figure than a model. This dragon is different. It is painted in a greenish dark panzer grey and and dry brushed to bring out detail without compromising it's black dragon appearance. The model looks crisp and well proportioned even up close . I'm not a huge fan of the bacon wings and would have preferred a more bat like aesthetic but that is design and can't be faulted in the quality of the product. The clear base is a mixed bag. It's a bit too reflective and makes it look cheap but is a good idea. Maybe and anti glare coat will do the job. Still 5 stars despite this nitpicking. It's the best model so far.

great item arrived fast

Amazing sculpt and good paint job. It’s big and that goes a long way to make it cooler but $100 just feels steep, I believe adult dragons used to be cheaper too so it’s a little unfortunate and holds it back

Insane detail and the size far exceed my expectations. This is more a statue/bust than a "mini" but still is going to be used to awe my players.

I didn't realize while making the video, the clear plastic was actually split from top of the wing to the base. I am amazed the model appears to be un touched. A good bit of luck after USPS threw the box over a 6' 2" fence onto concrete. The hole in the box may have been the same thing that punched throught the item box and packaging. The item box was minorly damaged. Thank goodness the item itself survived. Love the detail of the model. Looks fantastic. Just please choose a different shipping method.

Pues la figura en si, está muy guapa. Yo la compré simplemente por decoración, no porque juegue a D&D (que es su verdadero target, claro está). Normalmente estas figuras siempre tienen un precio elevado, esté más o menos justificado (para mi casi siempre sobrepreciadas). Lo digo porque para el precio que tiene, pues veo 2 puntos mejorables: • Se notan las piezas que lo conforman por las uniones, es decir, las uniones se notan mucho (se puede apreciar en una de las fotos que adjunto). • Eché en falta algo más de detalle en pintura, aunque no sea estrictamente necesario. Sin embargo, es cierto que tal como es, está muy guapo igualmente. Tal vez si mejorasen el punto de las uniones, es decir, intentar disimular un poco mejor las propias uniones, quedaría perfecto. El tema pintura, es subjetivo probablemente, ya que la propia superficie de lo que simula las escamas, genera sombras, y en ese punto está muy bien, solamente es mi opinión, de que podría haber quedado mucho más guapo. Si te gustan los dragones y lo adquirres en plan decorativo, pues quizá puede recomendarse su compra. Y si eres fan y jugador de D&D, supongo que con más motivo puede ser una compra más que recomendable. Por los puntos mejorables es por lo que le adjudico las 4 estrellas.

Una hermosa “miniatura” con un tamaño impresionante. Sólo verla ya me dan muchas ideas para una campaña y horas de diversión

Figura sensacional. Enorme e cheia de detalhes. A única reclamação são os danos na caixa, que veio com rasgos em algumas partes.
