This white noise generator is about the size of a jar of baby food, but generates sound as well as the full-size Dohm machine. The YogaSleep Sound Machine is USB rechargable and has a handy cord which I use to hang it over my bedpost - no valuable bedstand space needed, nor do I need to be within wall outlet distance to generate sounds (unlike the Dohm). I previously had a Hush portable white noise machine, which was left behind following a loved one's hospital stay, and I took advantage of Prime Day to replace the portable machine with the YogaSleep, which I like even better. This machine has several sounds, intuitive volume control, and even has a nightlight which gives off just enough light to read (non-screen books) by. I like how well it will tuck into my toiletry case for travel, and I won't even have to worry about recharging on weekend trips because the battery life is so good.

My wife and I love this thing. We bought it to use on vacation, but we use it at home almost nightly. It really helps us get to sleep, and the sound is more relaxing than other sound machines and apps we've encountered.

I got this to try to hide noise from neighbors (apartment living) which prevents me from sleeping. I have a sunrise alarm clock that also has a white noise feature that I have already been using for years. This is far more powerful. I have the volume max-ed out and it is great- have it on my nightstand. It doesn;t 100% block their noises because I think some of the noises are vibrational from their moving things or stomping around, but it is probably the loudest and most effective noise I can have and still tolerate- the white noise does not keep me awake itself. Also this is small enough that I will be able to travel with it. In the past I have used Youtube recordings of white noise while traveling, now I can just bring this. Very happy with my purchase!

A friend of mine brought this on a trip and I absolutely loved the sound of it. It doesn't sound like your typical white noise, but has almost a different, deeper pitch, which I think is what I like. It has several options of sounds, but my favorite is the deepest one. Ever since I started using this it has made me fall asleep and stay asleep like a baby. I truly have the best sleep now. It's great because you can charge it and it runs all night and maybe even half the day. Sometimes I forget to charge it and it still works through the night. It also has a little nightlight which is nice if you need it. This would also be great for small children who want a light and a noise machine. The size is great and not some big large thing you need an outlet for. Just love mine!

I am one of those people that wakes up when even the thought of someone making noise happens. I am the lightest sleeper that is out there and use a sound machine to sleep with every single night. Usually when I travel I just take a full size one with me but recently we traveled to Paris and I wasn’t sure if the voltage would be an issue (I compared it to my hairdryer which had a voltage issue and I had to buy a travel one). I wanted to find one that could charge so I would not have to worry what voltage it ran on plus I could use it for other trips that we have coming up. When I received it I was instantly worried as it is so tiny and kind of cute. I didn’t think it would produce enough white notice like my full size one did. I charged it (comes with a cord similar to a phone charger) and tried it out and was extremely happy instantly. It was actually so loud I had to turn it down a bit which I loved! Depending on where I am the ability to adjust the volume was a huge bonus. One charge made it through almost 2 nights - it turned off about an hour before I woke up the second night. I would say it was around 15-16 (or so) hours it ran between the 2 nights. I did start to charge it daily after that just to ensure it would be fine all night but no biggie and I just plugged it in when I got up and within a couple hours it was good to go again. It’s so easy to pack, very lightweight and was exactly what I wanted and more. I will no longer be lugging my bigger one around for trips as I will be using this one for both local and international trips from now one. 100% recommend!

Second update 8/21: Adding a star back. Since it was still under the warranty period, I reached out to the company about the defective port. They sent me a new one, and it seems to be working well. Looks like they also darkened the buttons, which is a welcomed addition. Update: The charging port is on its way out. I tried for several minutes to get the light to come on indicating that it was charging, and failed. My husband finally got it to work by wedging a piece of paper against one side. I deducted a star because the product only lasted 8 months of nightly use. I'm here hunting for a different product to replace it. I still think it's a nice device, they just need to fix that port issue. Original review: We've been using this in my 2.5 year old's room for 4 months. The controls on the bottom are solid white, so I used some marker to highlight the ones we use most (pictured). As others have noted, the charging port is a bit wonky, so you have to wiggle the plug to get it right. Thankfully, a light flashes when it's effectively charging. Unfortunately, because of all that wiggling, now it's getting harder for it to make the right connection, so it takes more tries to get it to charge. I hope that this doesn't get much worse. Otherwise, the sound is good, it works as advertised, and I love its compact size.

The best sound machine I've ever had-and I've had a lot! Being a light sleeper it's perfect to travel with, and I can put it right by my pillow.

I’m a very light sleeper so I like to sleep with background noise. This little thing is great. Really easy to take along on trips. And the light in it is a nice bonus.

I have this for over an year now and it has worked without any issues. This week it stopped working (I couldn't turn it off) but when I read the reviews here and followed the advice of letting it run out of battery, it is now back to normal.

A wonderful white noise machine. Small, easy to pack and easy to charge. We use it travelling and also at home.

I did not think it would be amazing but it is so compact and surprisingly great. I use Thunderstorm a lot when I am reading.

Llegó a tiempo, y al principio me decepcionó el tamaño, era muy pequeña. Sin embargo, después de probarla quede sorprendida con la potencia de volumen que tiene. Es muy práctica, fácil de usar, se carga rápido y la batería dura al menos 9 horas seguidas. Tiene 3 niveles de luz y como 7 sonidos diferentes. Lo único que le modificaría, es que los botones deberían de tener alguna luz tenue para a medianoche poder apretarlos y ajustar el sonido sin necesidad de prender una luz, fuera de eso, 10/10.

Gute Akku Laufzeit, Licht in drei Helligkeitsstufen, Geräusche abwechslungsreich. Hilfreich wäre eine Auflistung, in welcher Reihenfolge welches Geräusch kommt, ansonsten nichts zu beanstanden.
