02457 CAT Mini Excavator Vehicle Toys for unisex-children

These are high quality vehicles. Three of my four grand sons LOVE them ! I will be getting more for my fourth grandson that just arrived. So well made !

Our grandson, who just turned 4, is a real truck enthusiast. He knows all the names and what they do, so I knew this would be a toy he would enjoy. The tough part was picking out the right one. This truck is a little pricey, but is well made and looks like it will stand the test of time. I read other reviews carefully before purchasing, and realized that many toy trucks are not that well made. People complained of them breaking in very short periods of time, but the Bruder brand really seems to take quality seriously. I plan on buying him a couple of more for Christmas, and I will definitely buy this brand again. It is worth a little extra money to get a toy that will last. It is also very realistic...he told me that this one "inspired" him!! It is also a good size for him to handle. He has large Tonka steel trucks for outside play, but this is perfect for indoors. All in all, a good pick!

Great toy

This is a beautiful toy, but I would NOT recommend it for a kid that wants to do any sort of rugged play with it. We got it for our two and a half year old as a reward for getting out of diapers. The side mirror had a little plastic tie around it, and literally fell off when we took it out of the packaging, remaining attached to the toy only with the plastic tie. The bucket fell off within an hour of playing with it. We were able to reattach it, but i don't have hopes for how long the toy will last, sadly. All in all, I would recommend it for an older kid, but not for a young kid or for a kid that wants to do any real dirt work.

My grandson loves this and plays with it all the time. However, be aware there are two parts that are choke hazards. First, the hard hat came off the doll and second, the mirror easily comes off the door. Both items are very small and unnecessary. Throw them away!

A lot of the toys you buy now are plastic and snap easily. So far, we have loved the excavator and it’s holding up well with my rough toddler boys. Do keep in mind the side mirror pops off and on. If you have little ones who put things in their mouth, I’d pop it off and keep it off

The details are solid the toy is great and my son loves it. Bruder again makes a good toy that's huge hit for a five year old boy.

As described. Its still in packaging as this is for a birthday gift a few weeks from now, so haven't had a chance to actually play with it. Seems to be fair quality and looks like it's very detailed in its design.

We purchased this toy for our son for his birthday. He was thrilled with it. I have some concerns about its durability given its steep pricing. I definitely expected the toy to be more sturdy in weight. There are lots of moving parts and the plastic feels brittle and I will not be surprised if it doesn't hold up for long. But then again, perhaps I will be pleasantly surprised.
