実際に短編ドラマ制作で使いましたが、書いた文字が消せなくて結局ダイソーで売ってるホワイトボードを分解して白い板の部分だけテープで貼り付けました、こうすればホワイトボードマーカーの磁石もくっつきます。 それ以外は満足です、ドラマ制作で普通に使えました

It’s a state. It works well. It’s well built. It was affordable for an independent filmmaker. It’s not digital. You have to write on it with an erasable pen or pencil. And it’s perfect for my needs.

This is the perfect non-digital clapboard if you're a beginner in filmmaking. The size and look are just excellent. The colors are inviting as well. It's the romance of old-school filmmaking that made me get one like this. Outstanding quality.

The slate looks sturdy enough as long as you don't throw it on the floor between each take. Expo markers seem to leave a smudge even after cleaning with windex, but I'm partial to using camera tape marks anyway, which work fine with it. One thing I'd like though is a thumb strap on the top stick, I might try to glue one on (the wood feels like MDF, so, not sure a screw would hold up). Regardless, it's cheap enough to buy another one if I f-up.
