I bought this gear oil to replace the differential fluid on my 2018 Camaro SS and so far, so good! I mean it's OEM, so it better work! I had to buy a hand pump to get it flowing, but it was such an easy job, I think anyone can do it. The price seems to have gone up about $10 since I last bought it, but I think it's worth changing out if your car has never had it done before.

My 2015 Camaro (ZL1) started making groaning noises when turning corners. After changing the fluid, and doing the recommended figure eights in a empty parking lot, the noise went away. I probably didn't need to, but I added an additional ounce of Limited Slip Axle Lubricant Additive (10-4003 / 88900330).

I was having issues with the differential making odd sounds on my Corvette. I read that replacing the older diff fluid with newer fluid should help. Most people also suggested using the ACDelco product over other products, particularly Corvette owners. It did take a little time to quiet things down and it was somewhat gradual with usage. I read that you need to get the new fluid worked through the system and that may take doing some slalom runs, faster turns, going in reverse, etc. Also to take it easy for the first 500 miles after changing the fluid, which I did. I am not sure exactly when, but within a couple days I stopped noticing the sounds it was making before changing the fluid. I am happy with the result.
