I gave this two stars because I am assuming that it works in some vehicle, just not ours. We had to return this item. Amazon vehicle check said that it was compatible with a 2002 Ford Crown Victoria but it isn't. This switch may work really well but we were never even able to install it. The switch was made for a newer vehicle with a different size switch in every way and the components to plug in were different so unless we wanted to completely overhaul the interior of our car this switch wasn't going to work. We notified Amazon customer service about this so hopefully this won't be a problem for future customers.
