I collect fountain pens and use different ones for different things. I am planning a trip during which I will keep an old fashioned travel journal. I wanted a fountain pen that traveled well. After doing a TON of research and watching YouTube videos I hit on this little guy. It's short which means it stores easily. Post the cap though and it's a full-sized pen ready to go. The octagonal cap means that it won't role off the table. You can buy a clip for it, but it doesn't come with one (doesn't really need it). Anyway, nice pen, writes really well, and fits just like I wanted. I got burgundy but it comes in many different colors. If you want to spend three times as much you can also get an aluminium version. However, I like the lighter weight of the plastic version which is more suited for travel.

Not just for the price alone; this pen writes really well. Small and well designed, but post the cap and it's a reasonable size. Nib is so smooth, even on the paper my more expensive LAMY pens find scratchy. Will be purchasing the metal Kaweco pens after this!

I seem to be on a Kaweco Sport fountain pen buying spree. I saw the Bordeaux version on Reddit with a Casio watch. I’ve now bought the pen and the watch. It’s a beautiful dark red color pen. When I opened the box, and took out the pen, no sound of the cartridge. It was inside the pen body, but stuck. I posted about this on the Fountain Pen Network. A kind person replied that a pen store employee said to get something soft, like a notebook, and gently whack the pen body opening on the notebook. The cartridge popped out right away. I put a different cartridge of Kaweco Ruby Red in it. Gave it some time, then wrote with it. It started well, and is a smooth writing M nib. The pen is a very dark shade. To me, the darker colors on plastic Kaweco pens look classier. At the price here, I say buy one!

Nice pen. The Medium nib is key to a good ink flow.

I bought this to use with my passport size notebook. In all honesty the M nib is too wide for this, but I'm keeping the pen because I really like it. For small hand writing it really wets out and turns everything to a blob. It'll do for now but I'll probably get another one or just replace the nib at some point. If this matters to you, mine didn't come in the factory packaging. It didn't have signs of use, scratches, ink, etc. But these may be returns or something.

Originally I got this pen because I wanted it to be a throwaway pen in case I lost it. Now, I never want to lose it because it is the smoothest fountain pen I have ever written with! I am in love with it's light weight and incredible balance! It makes it amazing to write with for long periods of time! It's light like a feather!!

Mi aggiungo a coloro che hanno lasciato una buona recensione. Non è certo una penna di lusso: plastica economica, giunzione di stampaggio percepibile. Tuttavia, la qualità di scrittura è veramente molto buona. Il pennino M ha un tratto più fine di quanto mi aspettassi (per me è un pregio) ed è scorrevole. Gli altri pregi sono ben noti: tascabilità, leggerezza, design originale.

Lo mejor es la estética clásica de la marca y modelo. Cerrada tiene una longitud de 10.5 cm. frente a los 13 ó 14 cm que suele ser la longitud estándar de plumas y bolígrafos. Abierta para escribir y con su capuchón colocado, ya adquiere los 13 cm ideales para su comodidad en la escritura. Esta característica del tamaño de la KawecoSport, puede ser relevante en su adquisición. A mí, me encanta el reducido tamaño pues la puedo llevar cómodamente incluso en el bolsillo del pantalón.
