Ends were solid brass and ,add well. Worked great for what I needed it for.

I bought 2 of these hoses because I've had great luck with my Goodyear rubber hoses. The Goodyears are 25 years old and still going strong. These hoses have a very thin rubber coating unlike the Goodyears and they kink when you try to use or move them. The rubber is so thin a bubble appeared on the hose a few inches away from the attachment end at the sillcock. The bubble then burst so it sprays the house. The hose has only been used 4 times and is stored in the garage. The hose is a garbage buy that I will now need to repair as I'm past 30 days. The second hose has not been unboxed yet so perhaps I will resell it unused. This hose has no U.V. exposure and still died after 4 uses. It's a piece of GARBAGE. Premium hose? Really? What are you smoking?

My irrigation water system has a ton of pressure and I regularly blow out normal hoses. After losing my latest hose to the pressure I purchased this hose. This one has held up great to the high water pressure and has not bulged or blown off the ends (which is what normally happens with the cheaper hoses). I will be buying a few more of these to use with the irrigation system around the property.

Very heavy duty hoses. Have lasted years and should last many more. No cheap vinyl junk here.

Very cheap plastic inner hose lining. This hose looks like the real deal on the outside, but that is just the outer sleeve. there is a soft plastic inner hose that is coming all apart after only a few months of service. Factory fittings blew off because inner hose is crumbling apart and will not grip the metal barb that goes inside. And, that is with a nice stainless hose clamp on the outside. Metal fitting just blows out again!

The water coming out of our rain barrel, which is up on bricks about 20" above ground, was just a trickle coming out of our 75-foot x 5/8" diameter hose. We bought this 50-foot x 3/4" hose and it flows out much faster. This hose is also a bit heavier that our narrower hoses. ****************************** We have now had the red hose for about three months. It does kink fairly easily and when it does that spot is weakened and kinks again at the same spot, so if you can leave the hose flat that would be better than rolling it up. The red color is also fading, but that is not important to me. It still gets the water out faster than the smaller diameter hose which is why I bought it.

Some other reviewers complained that this hose kinks easily. Well, duh, it's a rubber hose! They're flexible, that's why they kink easily! I wanted a hose that was flexible and remained flexible at cold temperatures and that's what I got. That it kinks easily comes with the territory. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

I had high hopes for this hose, but I am sending it back. The rubber is extremely soft and also sticky, leaving your hands sticky after using it. The soft rubber will be abraded quickly if you are dragging it on cement. The hose also kinks really easily. I wanted a more durable and robust hose, but this wasn't it.

It’s incredible that for the price I paid. It’s a low quality product.
