Our composter was opening up at the seams and we needed a way to secure it and hold it tightly closed. These straps did the job perfectly and are very durable and strong without being too thick or hard to work with. The adjustability with the screwdriver or ratchet wrench made things a lot easier to cinch it all up.

Used it in on an exhaust repair. Stuff is very strong. Steel?. I used heavy duty aviation snips to cut it and had to use much more force than I expected. I cinched it extremely tight and the hardware bind didn't fault. Good clamp

It is a bit of a struggle to attach the screw mechanism so it holds fast, and that the mechanism engages both ends of the strap. With careful bending of the strap where it inserts into and grabs onto the screw mechanism, they did the job. If you know the size hose clamp you need, I'd say buy the exact size. But if you are going into a project blind as I was, this can be your salvation if you deploy it carefully. The materials are of high quality and I have no doubt my clamping will last longer thanI will.

Review of Hoses Clamps: I noticed some of the reviews mentioned having trouble with this product. I found the product to work just fine, but that the pictured instructions leave much to be desired. Here are some important points: 🔹 There is a proper direction the screw fitting MUST be placed relative to the band or the helical screw will bind in the slotted ban.? See attached photo. Note: I found the proper direction was in the opposite curvature of the roll of slotted banding as it is unrolled. 🔹 After cutting the slotted banding, I would recommend using a file to remove the rough edges. See attached photo of the tools I used. 🔹 When bending the slotted band to fit in the second end of the screw fitting, I would recommend only bending a 1” length at 75 degrees vs 90 degrees. This will make sliding the slotted band into the screw fitting a bit easier. 🔹 After sliding the bent slotted band into the screw fitting, I found it helpful to use a pair of pliers to firmly grasp the slotted band to the screw fitting BEFORE bending the slotted band back straight. Using the pliers just makes a tighter / flatter fit. See attached photo. 🔹 Finally, I would encourage a trial run of engaging the slotted banding into the screw fitting and turning the screw about 8 revolutions to ensure no binding, before actually installing. With these adaptions, I found this product to work quite well.

This product is the best and very easy to use. I have a very large/expensive ceramic outdoor planter pot (18 inches in diameter and 20 inches tall) that has a crack down the side. I was made aware that wiring the top with galvanized wire would keep it together. When I found this product on Amazon, it appeared that this would be better than wire. I ordered the 8 foot package. It was very easy to setup the screw end, determine the length required for the pot, and install/tighten. The great news is that the crack also tightened in the process. Saved a very expensive pot. I read the reviews and looked at the videos. I don't understand the one star reviews. The only thing that I can interpret is that these guys setup the screw end backward which in turn forced the device to bend when tightening thus damaging it. There was a video from a purchaser which indicated that the screw device was defective because there was no way to pass the wire though the sodder area thus the device was garbage. This area of the screw section is intentionally sealed and the wire goes around it. It's a pity that the purchaser didn't know this because this is a great product. If I can install this, so can you. Don't hesitate to purchase.

The fit between the slots in the band and the teeth is not great, to the point of having to hold the screw assembly with pliers so the whole mess doesn't twist. These also won't tighten "straight" again, due to the match between the slots on the band and the teeth of the screw it won't be a straight line once tightened, there is a slight 5 to 10 degree angle that the two sections of banding try to create when they meet because stuff isn't lined up properly. other store bought band clamps don't have this issue. it is nice to have the adjust ability to be able cut and make however long of clamp I need but sometimes it's a real pain to get these wrangled into position and tightened down.

If you need large diameter ss clamps, you are So Glad you found this item! These things are great and totally customizable to your size. It seems they may have gone through a few design iterations and maybe some quality control issues (looking at other reviews), but the 34.5ft kit i got (came with 12 screw clamps, yes, longer = more clamps) worked just fine. A few of the screws may be tight, just loosen them up with a driver first. You Will need tin snips to keep from making a terrible rough cut, get those. Finish off the corners so you don't lacerate yourself. I live in an acid-rain forest and so far they still look brand new. And I have 5 more I can make, big or small! (I spent$6 for 2 2" clamps in the hardware store. Lol get this kit!!)

Great product! I’ve made several hose clamps with this product. All have worked well for my purposes. I really like the ability to make the hose clamps the various sizes that I need. I think it is much cheaper to make your own than to buy them individually. Therefore, I would definitively buy this product again.

Excellent, cut to size product. Works well for strapping brackets to posts. Fixing items to a tree. Fully adjustable and easily removed. Can also be used for fixing large pipe work. We use to fix a defibrillator box bracket to a post within our local community and it worked very well.
