Easy to follow instructions for every hairstyle. A must for girls with long hair.

This is a great book. Easy to read instructions with illustrations. Hair styles are rated as easy to difficult, also telling which type of hair will work best. This is a good book for adults who are inexperienced with hair (like me) and children who are just learning.

Great for moms not for kids

Bought this for my older tween daughter who needed some hairstyle inspiration. Instructions are good and has good pictures, includes some more basic styles and some slightly more complicated. I was hoping my daughter would be doing her own hair with the help of this book, but the instructions are more geared toward a parent styling a child’s hair. We still really enjoyed the book and it is great for learning the basics.

I think the styles are cute and age-appropriate, and the instructions helpful. My very fussy, nearly 10-year-old granddaughter loves it.

It was an ok book for the beginner or for girl dad's. The hair styles are pretty basic.

My granddaughter wanted a book with hairstyles. She absolutely loved this and Carrie’s it with her to try out hairstyles. She is six and has been braiding her own hair for several years. She loves the choices in the book and quite often she will try several styles on the same day. Very well written with great pictures!

My daughter got into a phase where she was saying she didn't want me to do her hair for school, just have her hair down. I only really know a few hairstyles to do on her too. Bought this book to give us inspiration for different styles. So far they have been very simple and quick to do and look great. Finally she is letting me style her hair again so it isn't just in her eyes and messy

This book is great to find ideas for hair. It doesn't have a lot of suggestions for hair shorter than shoulder length or hair that is very curly or kinky.
