NO hum CAN BE accomplished. Extremely low hum sound especially compared to my other air pump and returning model advertised as low noise (both air outlets must be used to be quiet). I totally reduced the extremely low hum to NO hum by placing the box included packaging foamy material under the air pump and placing about 3lb (1.4kg) weight on top of the unit; this got rid of any left over vibrations. I am checking for any heat where the foamy material touches the bottom of the air pump but none so far; I am very careful of the added foamy material because heat can reduce the life of the unit. The unit is sitting on the floor as shown in photo and will go under the furniture out of sight. The air flow is great as can be seen from one of the photos running at maximum into the 9 gal (34 liter) tank; in reality I see more air bubbles than the photo. The air control can easily keep the air flow at 0% to 100% and anywhere in between very easily; my other existing and another air pump I am returning are much harder in control. I am keeping the air flow at around half or less. There are two air outlets but if you only are going to use one, then either connect both into one with a T or Y valve connector, or block one of them. I am not sure if blocking one of them damages the unit so I have two output air pipes connected by a T valve connector into one pipe. Not using both output air outlets causes this unit to be as noisy as the competitors quiet air pumps like the one I am returning. In conclusion the price is a little high but for someone who can't stand the air pump hum, THIS IS AMAZING :-) I can actually sit on the couch look out the window and the fish tank and relax without any hum!!! The packaging of the unit is higher quality along the lines of quality computer products In comparison to some of the other aquarium accessories. I guessing my unit quality is the same quality as all the other shipped units. I hope you found this helpful.

This pump is extremely quiet, it more quiet than my top fin pro 110 hang on back filter, which is impressive. It has two slots for you to hook a hose too and is adjustable to the specific needs of your fish, too much oxygen no problem just turn it down, too little turn it up, works great with my Hygger 15.9" bubbler. I dont have another bubbler just the one for my 55 gallon for my african cichlids. You want this thing super quiet hook a second hose to it that ur not using and it will be 10x more quiet. I have a video with a second hose on it, as u can hear cant hardly hear it at all, but when the second hose was off u could hear it 10x better.

I have a 55 gallon aquarium. This air pump has two output nozzles and supplies air to two tank accessories.The air pressure is adjustable and that is a bonus. It is also quiet. I would buy it again if needed.

Great pump. Quiet and powerful. I bought one in Nov 2023 and it stopped working. Buying a replacement today (Jan 2025). I got about 2 years of life from my first one. Would have expected a longer life out of it, but for the $ and performance until it stopped working, I think it is good enough to buy again.

I did have a problem with the first one. I ordered, but I contacted or should I say they actually contacted me. Because of my recent post and bam, they sent me one that works perfect. It's super quiet and it works unbelievably great. I would totally recommend getting this. If you have any size aquarium or if you need a pump with 2 outlets, this thing kicks well, you know.

So this is only day one for me. But I had to come on here and say this. I've been living with a crappy noisey pump and couldn't take it. Asked chatgpt for a recommendation on a pump I could buy on amazon and it gave me this one. And I can't hear the pump at all. Only the bubbles. It's double isolated. So the pump is suspended on the inside of the housing (like if it's running and you tilt it you can hear the motor hit the side of the housing making the noise we all hate) and then the super soft rubber fest isolate it completely the rest of the way. It sits on a wood shelf inside my tank stand so you know that would amplify the sounds of there were any. So far I'm happy. Can't speak on the longevity as it's only day one. But now the only noise I hear is bubbles and my tinitus lol.

So far so good with this unit. It has excellent power and has been running for over 3 years with no issues. It also is very quiet.

This Air Pump is not working waste of money, disappointment 0 rating ..

great little air pump. works well reaching the bottom of my 3ft tall 180gal tank. it's quieter than most I've tried, and way better/stronger than the big name brands. I bought a second one.
