Alphabet Letters and Numbers Foam Puzzle Square Floor Mat, 6x6-Inches, 72-Pieces

I previously purchased a similar set of foam playmats at a discount store for my baby. When he started crawling, I needed more to protect him as my house is all tile or wood, so I went online to look. It is difficult to find these smaller tiles as most playmats were 12”x12”. I like the smaller tiles as they provide more flexibility to build your mat around furniture and corners. These mats are good quality and thick enough to protect babies from minor accidents and falls. They do have smaller cut out pieces but you remove those pieces if you are concerned about choking. These new sets do not fit with my original set, but that was to be expected since it is a different company. These mats work well for what I needed and more importantly, I was able to get a lot of them. In fact, I went back to order 3 more for a total of 6 sets to cover my entire living room. All 6 sets ordered fit together great!

I ordered this for my 22 month old granddaughter. She has most of her letters and numbers down, and this is to help her with recognition and order (which she also has, but still needs a little help). She absolutely LOVES this! She can take the letters out and put them back in with minimal guidance. The mat comes out at about 3' x 6' . We had fun jumping and hopping on it, and laid down to pretend nap (she does that to show she likes something). The blocks come apart and go together easily, a plus for her. I like that there are two sets of letter and as you can see, we set it up to go both directions. But the big reward is that there are enough letters to spell simple words. They also stick to out bathtub wall. (I don't have tile, have the fiberglass unit/insert.) She was very sad when it was time to put them away. Another really good thing is that the 'middle' of the letters and numbers have been removed. There aren't the little pieces that she could put in her mouth and potentially choke on (or my dogs could get a hold of and choke on as well). The product is thick enough that she's biting on it, but we can work on that. It also did not have any smell, other than the packaging and when you initially open it up. I have a small house and there wasn't a problem with smell. Overall, I am VERY happy with this item, and I would definitely buy it again, and buy it as a gift.

I bought this for my grandson so he can play in his new playpen. It's smaller than I thought. It's not very thick...might be good if you have carpet. But for hardwood floors...no

A littler smaller than I thought, however I should have paid more attention to the size prior to buying. Good product just a littler smaller than I was hoping for.

At first this seemed so small to me, I didn't do the math and realize it would be a 4.5' square. Then my daughter (1yo) sat down on it and immediately the bright colors caught her eye, she adores this floor puzzle and the pieces are just her size, she has tons of fun just pulling up pieces and trying (in vain) to put them back. Now we love it! Small or not this is a big hit in our house.

This pieces come apart when baby is crawling on them. I live in CA. and ordered it for my ggreatbaby in FL. The grandma just threw them away. So I'm just letting you know product was not so good for crawling babies.
